I need help onboarding!
I just had my first client onboarding call for my Facebook ad agency and I was going to walk him through it. He could not find business settings anywhere and I told him I'll figure it out by our second call which is tonight. He just made the business manager account and has access to another persons page. Im going to try to get him to make a new business portfolio to solve it but I am lost. Does anyone have any advice or know what to do?

Hi @Kolton Bagshaw, the easiest way to talk them through it is to get them to go to business.facebook.com This will bring them to Meta, meta is one step before Business portfolio From here they will check they have the correct business selected in the drop down box at top left They will look down the left hand menu until they see Settings, click settings Scroll the left hand menu until they find Business Manager, click this and it will take them to Business Portfolio If when they open Business Portfolio and do not see their business listed in the left hand drop down menu, they will need to create the business portfolio for their business. Creation of Business Portfolio
Fb ads down, can’t get leads
Hey Guys, I feel like my hands are tied behind my back, my fb ads account got disabled start of July and I’ve contacted meta like 10 times but still hasn’t been resolved and that was my source of inbound leads. Feel very stuck and not sure what’s the next best option to get inbound leads, any suggestions?

@Maximus Hilmi that is definitely a work around! I am glad you got it sorted in the end
Before the onboarding
Hi guys! Just wanted to se how u go about preparing for onboarding with a new client Recently I ran in to some problems and that made me think about different ways to prepare for the onboarding so that problems like they ad account are suspended or that they have a messed up business portfolio. Should I make a loom where I ask the client to go in and screen record there business manager, and like the users, pages, ad accounts they have in it to be able to prepare for those type of problems? Or is this just me overthinking? How do u guys go about it, to make it as simple and easy for both u and the client?

@Elias Somi this is a great question. I would not personally ask for their facebook password unless it is really needed. Our process is to ask them for their business portfolio ID and request the items through the Partner section of business portfolio. I do really like the idea of you getting them to screen record or even send you screenshots of the items they have so that you have an idea going in. so yes I think adding in a screen recording or screenshots of the business portfolio is a great processes add on to stop the added errors or pressures when it comes to onboarding your clients
Fb business verification issues...
Trying to get my business manager verified and protected in preparation for running ads soon for my client. Running into a few issues with the account and getting it verified. Have looked into taking a work around path by creating an app and getting verified that way (through facebook developers) * The account was only created this year as my personal before joining this programme I deleted... If this has any affect on the process. This is my first time setting up the account and trying to protect from future possibilities of bans or shutdowns. I know verification is crucial for protecting my account against bans and shutdowns, but is it crucial to have sorted before onboarding my client today and gaining access to their account? (Ads will be ran on their ad account) TIA!

@Jonathan Tannheimer you don't need to worry about this verification

@Daniel Obi this verification for for third edge solutions and you and your client are not eligible for this and therefore do not need to be verified
Ad rejected
I had a successful campaign and ad set and ad running. The ad had been running for 2-3 months and was randomly out of nowhere rejected and can’t appeal or review it. Support said they can’t either as they don’t see the option too. Why is that? @Uncle Jimmy Mitchell

@Jordan Unger did they give you any information as to why it was rejected?

They could have picked up on a singular word, phrase, image or message you are portraying in your ad. What was the ad about??
