Feeling Overwhelmed by Your To-Do List? 👀
I know how you feel – staring at a to-do list so long, it feels like it could crush you. The more tasks you see, the more paralyzed you feel. It is tough 😥 But hear me out on this: it’s not about how much is on your list – it’s about how you approach it. The problem isn’t just having too much to do. It’s the lack of clarity about what matters most. When everything feels urgent, nothing truly gets done. Here’s a quick way to regain control: The 3-Task Rule. - Pick just three tasks that will have the biggest impact on your day. - Focus only on these until they’re done. This doesn’t mean ignoring everything else – it’s about prioritizing the actions that move you forward. The key is progress, not perfection. Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you’re failing. It just means it’s time to simplify. P.S. A quick tip: After adjusting your list and starting to do the tasks, just focus the first part of the first task. Forget about anything about other tasks. Once you get going, the rest is easier. 😉 What’s one task you’ll focus on today? Share it below. 👇

The Freedom of Letting Go of Perfection 😌
Focus on the word. How does it sound? Even the word itself has "perfect" in it. How bad can it be? And who doesn't want things done right? As it turns out, pretty bad. As much as the tonality feels great, and we may want to have it as a badge of honor. Only the ones who struggled with its cold grip can really understand its real effects. Let's let go of fancy words and speak about real stuff. The pursuit of perfection can be the biggest roadblock standing in our way, and it often drains us more than we realize. You try to make everything perfect or in your own words; right, you often forget that you are not just wasting time of the thing you are doing, you are wasting your life. Deep down, you believe that being a perfectionist means that you are perfect. But no. You are not perfect and never will be. Make your peace with that. No human ever is going to be perfect and mistake-free. We are made of mistakes. Letting go of this illogical belief, will unlock you the ability to live your life. Don't you want that? Or do you want to obsessively focus on every little detail? Let me guess: You don't even want to do your job or clean your room because it takes a lot of time and effort, right? Wonder what is the reason. 👀 If your perfectionism becomes something so deep, you'll start to procrastinate everything you do. And one day, you'll realize that your procrastination has become chronic too. Don't do this to yourself. Let's say it again: Letting go of perfection isn’t about lowering standards. It’s about shifting our focus from obsessing over the tiniest details to embracing the bigger picture. It’s realizing that sometimes, taking action and moving forward is more valuable than getting everything exactly right. Remember, "Perfectionism is the enemy of progress." Give yourself permission to release the weight of perfectionism Ömer. Not only will you find more freedom, but you’ll also uncover a more authentic, creative, and resilient version of yourself. P.S. Yes, this is a letter to my younger self. I know that I am not the only one who has suffered from this.

Growth Through Self-Reflection: A Powerful Technique
Apparently, growth doesn’t happen by accident – it’s something we create, day by day, through the questions we ask ourselves. The funny thing is, we often spend more time reflecting on others than we do on our own thoughts, actions, and goals. But true growth? It starts when we turn our focus to ourselves. If we’re not checking in with ourselves, we’re moving through life on autopilot, just reacting instead of creating (or taking action). Taking even a few minutes to pause and ask the right questions can get us out of that negative flow. It can help us re-align, refocus, and ultimately make choices that are right – not just for today but for who we’re becoming. Here are three powerful questions that I learned are useful (according to successful people), to ask oneself regularly: - “What am I proud of right now?” Acknowledging our wins, no matter how small, builds confidence and momentum. It reminds us that growth isn’t only in the big leaps – it’s also in the small steps forward we take each day. Also, I write the every day (not just work) tasks I do on a list on Notion. Even the very small ones. Writing a task and checking of really feels great and builds confidence. Yes, even the tiny ones. - “What have I learned from my recent challenges?” When we face setbacks, it’s easy to feel discouraged. But every challenge is a lesson waiting to be uncovered. Taking time to reflect on these lessons helps turn tough moments into valuable insights. This is now slowing down; it is a way to slingshot our progress. - “What can I let go of that’s no longer serving me?” This could be a habit, a mindset, or even a goal that no longer aligns with where we’re headed. Growth often means shedding old skin to make space for something better. Self-reflection isn’t just a tool; it’s a habit. The more we do it, the more clarity and purpose we bring into our lives. And remember, it’s not about finding perfect answers – it’s about exploring ourselves and staying connected to our journey.

Growth Through Self-Reflection: A Powerful Technique
Are You Not Motivated Yet? 🤔
Sometimes, you’re just not that excited about the task you need to do, right? When the reward for doing something seems distant or irrelevant, it’s hard to find the motivation to start. It feels like a chore. First of all, this is the perfect time to shortly speak about the motivation vs discipline debate. Some people think you need motivation to do things, some people think motivation is crap you need discipline. The reality is that you need both of them. Nobody, and I mean nobody can work hard for years without a drop of motivation. And nobody can be motivated to work hard for years. You need both. And these kinds of tasks need you to be disciplined. But you do not have to just rely on the discipline and if you are not that disciplined, it is will draining hard. You can find a way to connect the task to something you care about. Link it to your larger goals. Visualize what achieving that will do for your life. It might not feel exciting now, but keep your eyes on the bigger picture. If the task becomes about something you desire so deeply, even if you don’t like it. You’ll do the thing. Yes, it feels it is like discipline because it is. Also, if you don’t have one, have a solid and clear goal. How do you do that? The best practice in my personal experience is to just reflect on yourself. Just sit down, no phone, social media, games, any distractions. Sit there and think about who you are, what you want to do, what you like to do, do you really enjoy the things you do daily at the moment, what you need to do to get where you are, etc. Do this for 3 days straight whenever you have time. This means whenever you don’t work or eat or sleep. Still no distractions, no cheap dopamine activities, nothing! If you can do this simple but boring thing, your future self will be grateful to you. Take care 👋🏻 and be sure to not procrastinate ⏳

Being Accountable... 🧾
Being accountable... This is one of the wallpapers I use frequently because I want to remind myself that I need to be accountable for every action I take and every reaction I make. I know that I have to realize that I am solely responsible for whatever situation I am in. Of course, life will throw obstacles in my way, but every reaction I make at those moments is up to me, too. So, by extension, yes, I am completely responsible for the situations I am in. This is accountability. This is the meaning of this word to me. What does this word mean to you?
