Redtail Opportunities Best Practices
I'm pretty frustrated with Redtail's Opportunities tool. It's not very good. The filter is pretty cumbersome and you can't save "lists" of different types or stages of opportunities. It doesn't report on revenue just AUM which isn't very helpful to track insurance cases. When you use the reporting tool to create lists, it fails to quantify how much AUM or Rev is in that "pipeline." Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Michael; the solution to this is to use Leadcenter.AI sales pipeline and production tracking: 1- You can customize a sales pipeline with stages (check image one). It is fully integrated with Redtail where you can sync contacts, activities, and accounts. 2- In production tracking, you will be able to track production for both AUM and annuities. The system will automatically calculate company fees and commissions as well as advisors commission. All of that is automatically reflects in production reports with visualization (check image 2 and 3 for examples). Feel free to sign-up for a 30 days free trial at https://app.leadcenter.ai/register

Redtail Review Reminders
We currently use a spreadsheet for annual review scheduling - Client by Month. As we grow this is not sustainable, obviously. What is helpful is that if they haven't scheduled their meeting we can go back and send additional reminders. In Redtail, I have set up a Keyword month for each client so I can generate a group to send a bulk email to invite them to schedule their meeting. What is the best way for me to track who hasn't scheduled so I can send reminders? Is there another field I can enter? It doesn't seem that tracking by Annual Review in Know your Client will work.

Hello Eleza; This feature is implemented in leadcenter.ai and integrated with Redtail. Client review reminders can be used to send automated reminders by email and text messages to contacts before the review due dates. The reminders can be sent to a contact. - Once a month before the client review due date. - 15 days before. - One week before. - Same day the review date is due. The client will be able to access the advisor public calendar (which is connected to Redtail) to book his own review. If a review meeting is booked with the client, the review reminders will be automatically disabled for this review period. This can help you in two ways: 1- Reduce the time and effort in sending those reminders or calling the contacts. 2- It move the scheduling to the client side. Clients can book their own appointments using the public calendar 3- Compliance. This will help stay compliant with track records of text and emails sent to client to book the review. Please let me know if you need help. You can setup a 30 days free trial at https://app.leadcenter.ai/register
Scheduling meetings with multiple team members
We are trying to find a scheduling solution (ex. Calendly, Zoom Scheduler) that will make it easy for us to offer times to clients/prospects that work for multiple team members. Anyone have a tool they like for this?

We use LeadCenter.AI for smaller advisory firm websites. But nothing beats WordPress when it comes to large Website requirement with thousands of pages
How I live each day is how I'll live my life...
Two existential posts in a row... how about that! A similar idea is "How you do anything is how you do everything." Recently I've been studying how to enjoy life on a daily basis - days which make weeks, months, years, decades, etc. Days are the building blocks of Life. 3 resources I've enjoyed on this: - The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer - Tranquility by Tuesday by Laura Vanderkam - Ten Lessons I Learned from Peter Drucker by Jim Collins (foreward to The Effective Executive) One overarching theme that I think can give you dividends immediately is "Do only one thing at a time", aka "be present." Not stuck regretting something in the past, or constantly worrying about the future - focus on the thing at hand and be there. Some practical applications I'm "practicing": - Don't multi-task - work on one task at a time. I find my brain doesn't overheat and I do better work, plus I'm just generally happier doing one thing to completion and then doing the next thing. Not trying to watch emails, Teams messages, prep for meetings later in the day, and analyze a CRM export all at the same time. Multi-tasking (for me anyway) typically means a more frustrating, anxious, and less productive day - and lower-quality work. - I tend to keep thinking about work long after I've gotten home, possibly even "catching up" into the evening. This makes for a lousy home life. I'm trying to turn my phone off more often in the evenings, over the weekend, and some days leaving my phone and laptop at the office so there is zero chance for distraction from the present. - Move before 3pm - taken from the Tranquility book - getting a walk in before 3pm each day no matter how busy or piled up my day is. If I don't prioritize this, there will always be something more important and years will go by focusing on the urgent at the expense of the important. - Live at 80% - not booking every day to the max. The difference between time you have and time you spend is "saved time" :)
