I chose Arabic because it's a beautiful language and it would be a benefit for me to learn it for the future. I already started on my own but I found this community on this app and I liked the layout of it. My question. Is it better to learn MSA first, before focusing on a dialect?

Hi all, I've been working on this for a while now. So I've been learning the Syrian dialect now and have been able to progress quite a bit. So I came up with this idea to help myself and help others, where I focus on a verb, write a few sentences in the different grammar of the verb and get my Syrian friend to help read them. I will also be sharing the grammar I've learnt. I have attached the videos in this post. It will be a post actually, with each slide being one page, but for your convenience I combined them. I plan to eventually open an Instagram page to share these - through the perspective of someone learning the dialect, and of course all my content will be vetted through thoroughly. To those who are learning the Lebanese/Syrian dialect, do let me know if this format is helpful for you.

I've made it easier to use and I'm using AI to generate random sentences at scale with translations to learn vocabulary simultaneously. Reason I'm doing this is: - many of you have enjoyed learning using the tashkil exercise (adding harakat to a sentence) - There's a scarcity of tools for learning Arabic, and the ones that exist are bad Would love to hear your suggestions for features, your thoughts in general, and if you have any questions. Salam everyone! Hope every one is well. Apologies for not being very active this last week. I realized that I took on multiple things that I couldn't juggle. So I've decided to slow things down. To do so, I'm pausing our live classes for now in order to focus on building the course pack (already in progress, see classroom) and provide weekly challenges and vocabulary.
