Push Day 6
Hey, I can’t believe June’s already over. Just curious, what are our goals for push day 6?

@Camilo Meltzer great. I’m just sticking with 200 today
Why did you join this community?
Hey Team - I'm always curious what the ultimate value is with Push-Days, to other people. I find value in them for a bunch of reasons, but I'm curious why people have joined this community? Anyone willing to share why this matters to them?

I’m going to share my story, but I have to warn you that it might sound like I’m trying to show off(that’s not my intention) Back in Lockdown, I started doing push ups. I did it because a social media influencer(Andrew Tate)told his fans to do 500 push ups a day or they’re “losers”. I took this a little too seriously, but I thought why not, it will eventually help me out anyway. I started doing push ups. My max reps in 1 set was 10. This increased to 20, then 30, then 40, then 50 and now 60. The clip(where Andrew Tate challenged his fans)started to die down after a while, but I realised that the days I don’t do push ups make me feel more tired, less energised, more sad…(all the negative feelings). Once I realised this, I pushed myself to compete with myself to try and maximise my push ups in a day. I got to 1000(well 1100, but we’re just going to round it to the nearest 1000😅). I continued doing 1000 push ups a day for 1 week before noticing that I’m experiencing a lot of stomach pain(I’m quite skinny, so all the fat I have burns pretty quickly, I’m guessing🤨). I kept doing 500 push ups a day, until my life started getting busy/preoccupied. Now, I do 200 push ups a day to make sure that I can still stay fit and energised while focusing on my daily activities/duty’s. And that’s basically my story😅. Push day basically helps me to stay motivated to do push ups on the days I don’t feel like doing it. I just come here and look at what the other community members have done and that helps me to force myself to do my push ups.
Push-Day 05 - Recap
Hey everyone - looks like we came in well below the 100,000 push-up goal for Push-Day 05. Inside this community we have a bit over 100 members now, which is awesome. For Push-Day 05 we had just under 40 participants and we logged 13,500 push-ups. While it may seem like a bummer, I really think it was actually a successful day, given it was our first attempt at doing it all within this community. The old way we did it (simply submitting numbers on my website) was certainly “easier,” but there wasn’t much community that way. I firmly believe that managing Push-Days through this Skool community will make this a much better experience for everyone. We’ll be able to literally interact with the team, made up of people from around the world. All that said, what should our goal be for Push-Day 06 on June 30? I’m thinking we set a push-up goal but also a goal of how many people we can get to participate. Thoughts?

@John Wakimura I agree
Push-Day 05 -- Friday, May 31
OK team - we've had enough people say they'd like a push-up goal for this Push-Day, so let's do it. I'm going to ask for some feedback from people and will follow up with what our exact goal is shortly.

It’s push up day “05” so it only makes sense that we all try and do 500 push ups each. What do you think?
