When we have a limiting belief that scares us, we tend to treat it like this big monster that we don't even want to make eye contact with. What that monster doesn't want you to know is that it's all shadows and imagination. By identifying these limiting beliefs, you shine light on them, and are finally able to see how small and insignificant they truly are.
