Skool's Old Homepage
Years ago this was Skool's homepage! My favourite part: "Come for the courses, stay for the community" Do you remember roughly when you joined Skool?

Data Protection issue
I don't know if you are aware but if you use zapier to integrate your free group with an email provider, their data is sent to your list even if you decline them. This means that not only do you end up with spammers on your list potentially but I would say you open yourself up to data protection issues. Might be something Skool can look into as my guess is that it is just when the event occurs.

Move FB Craft Promotion Group to Skool?
Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows if promotion groups work on Skool? I have a group on Facebook where handmade sellers promote their products (a UK only group) I currently have almost 18,000 members but I am findng that Facebook is penalising me (as the group Admin) for some of the things members post. Just really small things that the members may do wrong end up affecting my account personally. I am very strict with what I allow to be posted in terms of Copyright etc. I run Facebook ads to my current Skool and fear this group will end up just being a detriment to me and maybe my ad account. I am considering moving it to Skool but wondered if this is worthwhile. Thanks in advance for any advice 😊

I’d be interested to know what you get penalised for. I have a promotion group of sorts on Facebook and have been getting quite a low conversion to Skool, also I am not allowing promotion in the same way as I do on Facebook

@Rosey Willis that is a pain. I don’t allow shared content in my group which might help because if a post that is reported and then shared in your group it might cause problems

@Daniel Valdivia no, actually I have found the easiest way is to ask people questions that do one of 2 things, either get them talking about themselves or showing off their knowledge in some way, like in this post.

@Daniel Valdivia you can then create regular posts to get them involved. I don’t know your niche but posts asking for things like book recommendations or their opinions on something go down well. The only thong to think about is make it relatively easy to answer, if it is too complicated or they need to think they will probably skip it
