Investing Breakdown Of My YouTube Channel
I run a smaller channel with 2,800 subs that is more higher quality documentary style content. I’ve done youtube for approximately 3 years now, and you like to share what I put in for the end product my audience sees. And my plans on what to invest in as my income grows. For documentaries, stock footage is essential. And I use two services for this: Videvo and Artlist. I also use Videvo for sounds so I can get high quality songs and sound effects. All together annually it’s around $650 I also edit my own content to keep down on costs, and to also learn editing as a skill I could monetize later if need be. However I do pick up useful plug in over the years, adding to around $500 Occasionally if struggling with a thumbnail idea, I’ll pay someone on fiver and it usually gives me a push off point to make my own by tweaking it. I’ve spend maybe $200 on fiver thumbnails. Usually I make my thumbnails from scratch myself. I used to be an artist so I have developed photoshop skills. Just today I bought a $20 monthly service where people review thumbnails you submit. I think it will be worth it. I also payed around $800 for a course from the YouTuber Jake Tran, which caused me to rebrand my channel into a niche I decided upon. I also would count the books I use for my videos as a cost but I enjoy them so much I really won’t. But 15 bucks a pop, 9 vids. You do the math. Though I do pirate some of them. My channel is monetized but I’ve only received one paycheck for $100 so far. And I have no sponsors as of yet. In the future when I make more from the channel I will outsource my editing as well to free up time. As that’s my largest constraint by far. As I currently am a full time student, and work 15 hours a week part time. For those wondering my channel is called Salt & Pepper Economics. As videos do better I will show data on here on what causes a viral video to help anyone else out who is doing YouTube. Hope this was useful to someone!

@Martin Sýkora Thanks man! It can feel like a lot of work at times but I get by fine. Yes around a few months ago they implemented a split test feature. However the service I pay for also has the people they test on comment and review what they do and don’t like about the thumbnails as well. I agree it’s a tad redundant, hence why I’m just trying it out now to see if it does anything. If not I’ll cancel the subscription.
How hard is getting laid?
Hey guys, I'm 19 years old freshman in College and I still live with my mom. Is it impossible for me to get laid while I still don't have an apartment? Is it harder for me to get laid if I don't party as much? Must I have a girlfriend to get laid? Must I date women to get laid?

No man. When you live with ur mom you can get laid in cars or the girls apartments. But I wouldn’t recommend focusing on getting laid, but instead having positive communications with women where you just talk to them as people. And if they go well talk to them again over a cup of coffee. If you happen to get laid as a byproduct, good on you. But I wouldn’t focus on getting laid so hard, it’s swimming upstream. You’ll get it more the less you care abt it

We've got a married father here - Introduction
27 years old here. Small town in the USA. Maybe I'm a bit unusual, idk, but despite being married with one kid, I enjoy listening to Kris talk about becoming the best version of yourself. I'm trying to improve myself to build an awesome future for myself and my family. 1. Mindset - I've been juggling my master's degree + work + being a father/husband + fitness, I feel like it has taken me to a different level of discipline and mindset. I'm productive like 90-95% of the hours I'm awake, which I do not want to do for that much longer. Luckily master's degree will be done soon. 2. Fitness - I'm down from 210 pounds to 185 (5'10") with more strength than before, but honestly I'm still skinny-fat. Want to improve here. I play soccer so I want to be on the leaner side. 3. Understanding Women - Feel like my wife and I have a good relationship. Also, as I improve, she tends to improve too, which is nice. I encourage her to build habits that support her health, etc. 4. Success - I have a software job that - without going into too much detail - I'm kinda locked in to. It gives us a good but not mind-blowing salary. If I want to progress faster financially I need to grow an income outside of my 9-to-5. I have started using my coding and data science skills to build a habit tracker app. I want it to help people have better quality of life from sticking to healthy habits. Will probably want to make a YouTube channel to market the product when the habit tracker is more mature. The challenge will be managing time to get my day job done while working towards a business. 5. Life Setup & Framing - This is where I do the worst. My wardrobe is terrible, mostly old t-shirts and shorts. I drive an older car. House is reasonably nice though. As our child gets older I should have more free cash to spend on fun stuff like this. I must say Kris has convinced me it's more important than I once thought. Also, I would like to make more friends when I have time. P.S. Please like so I can unlock the free course LOL

Man you got wealth most don’t have. A child and a wife. I’d say wait on the life setup and don’t rush it. Once you have better income and time I’d worry about that later. Just try to get your family off the launch pad for now. Live practically, build, worry about life setup later. I’ll be getting a masters starting next year so congrats to almost being finished!
We’ve Got Lots of Introductions Here
I’m 21, in senior year of college for a degree in economics. Am gaining corporate retail experience as an intern for bath and body works corporate. I also run a small YouTube channel on the side called Salt & Pepper economics. Where my niche is the histories of basic commodities we take for granted today. Currently at 2,700 subs and is monetized. I love investing in stocks, crypto, and knowledge via books for me to read.
