From Time Zones to Vapify: Key Takeaways from Our Latest Build Hours Session
Yesterday we wrapped up another insightful Amplify Voice Build Hours session, and I'm thrilled about the collaborative problem-solving we accomplished today. Big thanks to Peter for suggesting the use of 'set date' and 'set time' functions for long-term time zone handling. - Outbound Agent Scenarios Simplified: @Guy Robertson brought up an interesting challenge about building an outbound agent for support calls with four possible call scenarios: no answer, disconnected number, voicemail, and engagement. We discussed strategies on building separate scenarios for testing and then combining them using routers. Also touched on the divert call feature in Vapi and its cost implications. Exciting stuff! - Tackling Twilio A2P Registration: @Harry Goldsmith shared his journey with Twilio A2P compliance registration. We discussed the variable timeframes for approval and how it can impact your projects. We guided Harry on checking his registration status and troubleshooting potential issues. Remember, patience is key here! - Vapi Integration Hurdles: @Harry Goldsmith also encountered some issues with Vapi integration and sending booking links. We suspected A2P compliance might be the culprit. We delved into checking Twilio's error logs to pinpoint the problem. It's all about those little details! - Introducing Vapify!: @Peter Kakoma gave us an exclusive look at Vapify, his platform for white-labeling Vapi voice assistants. He walked us through the user journey, dashboard features, and how you can customize branding, subdomains, and email settings. It's an impressive tool that could be a game-changer for agencies looking to offer branded voice solutions. - Vapify Pricing Feedback: We had an open discussion about Vapify's pricing tiers. Peter presented the Starter, Business, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Participants provided candid feedback on the pricing structure, suggesting a shift towards per-client or per-sub-account pricing. It's always great when the community comes together to help refine a product! - Rethinking the Pricing Model: The conversation evolved into exploring potential pivots in Vapify's target market and use cases. The feedback was invaluable, and Peter appreciated the insights for improving the platform. Collaboration at its finest!

The system offers a streamlined experience by automating key aspects of client intake, consultation handling, and follow-up, integrating advanced tools like Vapi ai, Make com, Airtable, and OpenAI’s assistants for optimized business coaching. Motivate Mate was developed as part of a six-week contest in Jack’s AI Automations Skool community, a competition we ultimately won. In total, the system has generated $6,118.93 in revenue in 6 weeks, demonstrating the potential and effectiveness of Motivate Mate as a scalable business solution. 🤓 What are you most excited to learn about next? - excited to do market research, then hone my skills in the proper direction!

@Steve Taylor Yeah, do you have the 'advanced' version they have on the openai app? it's truly impressive and next level.... and they announced a couple days ago the release for the api on this engine... I'm thinking they will be integrated into these platforms such as vapi and be very much next level... likely the cost will be much higher at the beginning, so it'll be one of those things you want to prepare for, but maybe not implement immediately as a solution

@Alejo and Paige Pijuan Thanks you 2!! The original team was myself and two Aussies, so I thought the whole 'mate' word would be a fun element :) The solution is modular in nature, it started as a business coaching system... It's an outgoing call system that will guide the client through a conversation, it will take previous call history / context whether its initial or follow consults into account; break down that conversation into categories for journey-tracking into the Airtable; and finally create and email 2 reports. Further on modular - We turned the variables into a 'config' row in airtable where you would put in all the settings for the given coach. There you can also choose what voice/encoder/language/etc will be used for that given coach. It will also handle any language that OpenAI handles in both the conversation language/report language. We also created a CustomGPT that will guide you through filling out that config row so you have a reliable coach within a half-hour. The entry point right now in the base version is frontend (carrd.co + paperform) -> webhooks into the system, keyed by phone number. We are working on a version that is built around Softr's features currently. I'll send you a link to test it out for free if you like :)
