Going Simple... Game Changer!
I have been struggling with the marketing worksheet as it is not something I am used to. I am a long-time creator - music, writing, gardening, building. I love to gather information, play with it, dream a lot, see what I can come up with and then when I have enough info, be it ideas, notes, visions, photos or any other manner of experience, I let loose and begin creating. This usually takes the form of writing or playing music. With market research, I find myself drowing in information, unable to come up for air. I have been bogged down and swamped in technology, apps, systems, methods, over-thinking and an over-zealous ChatGPT giving me answers that are way too long. I mentioned in a post somewhere that Josh told me to ask ChatGPT to summarise and give me smaller answers. I have turned what was a veritable Niagra Falls worth of words, ideas and jargon into a few sentences. I have reduced my over-active brain down to a few key elements. I am realising that I can apply this concept to every part of the process. Keep everything simple. What is the core of what I want to do? What do I want to share? What is the simplest way of doing it? I am using ChatGPT to help me with these questions too. I am late to using AI being that I am a writer and have had an aversion to it for a while. But, considering the sheer amount of information and options available right now, I cannot avoid it. I hope this helps someone.

@Austin Larsen It is hard though ay!? It is so easy to overthink things and get lost in options. But yeah, trying not to do that. All the best Austin!
COURSE OUTLINE DONE! 🙌
Just finished outlining my course and ready to start recording! Truly believe I have a winning formula to help women see success online & change their lives. So freaking excited! Love all the free content here, Josh! And loooove Trello. First time using it and it’s been amazing. The ability to move modules around and reorganise my process has been a game changer for this ADHD brain. No more losing my paper outlines scribbles on the backs of receipts and envelopes!!

@Austin Larsen Yes and yes.
IKIGAI
Just doing my IKIGAI on ChatGPT, and why is it so hard?! It's really made me realise that I've lost touch with myself as I've been focussing on my family for the past 15 years. Does anyone else feel like this? I used to have so many hobbies and interests before I had kids... So this is a great exercise for me!

Doing the Ikigai exercise will bring up a lot of emotions because it is revealing who you are and who you have forgotten or replaced due to other priorities. As a writer and emotional release coach, I have always told my students to take it easy and allow the emotion to flow as much as your answers revealing your truth. You might find it helpful to grab an exercise book and just write without thinking, based on the emotion you are currently experiencing. Don't stuff those emotions down. They want to speak. They want to move and no longer be stuck within you. Pen and paper work best on this one. It creates space in your brain and you will move through the tough element of this exercise with more ease because you are giving voice to the lost and stuck parts of yourself. That is all they want, a voice, a chance to speak.

@Cecilia Tjornby I hope it goes well for you and would love to know if it helps at all!
What platforms do I choose?
So, after yesterday's great community Q&A, I was feeling a little overwhelmed. Even though I have run a music and writing business online for a long time, it was all pretty amateur stuff for me. As musicians, we are not taught or told how to do all this stuff. I think musicians could definitely benefit from this kind of marketing knowledge although that is not where my passion lies. Anyway, I am pretty much starting from scratch with only basic things in place like an Insta page, Mailchimp email list, old website and an empty substack. I have no active following - just friends and family and I am on a minimal wage. So in the interests of keeping it simple and costs low, could I just learn how to lever Instagram and begin creating a community on Substack at first? The same goes for Mailchimp. I was advised to get out of that system. Obviously, it is quite easy to migrate from an email provider but is it possible to then move a community from Substack to Skool or Might Networks or Nas or would it be better to start on the community network that feels best first? As a writer, I really like how Substack is organised. It definitely ticks my boxes but I wonder if I would be missing out on important tools that maybe Skool or the others have because I am basically a noob at this point. Any insights would be most appreciated. Thanks and have a great day!

🎯 QUICK GUIDE: Spotting a White Label GHL vs Regular CRM
💡 What Makes White Label GHL Special? - Completely branded as the agency's own product - No visible GHL branding - Full customization to match agency's identity - Same powerful features as GHL, but under a different name 🔍 How to Spot White Label GHL: 1. Branding Check - Regular CRM: Shows original company branding - White Label GHL: Shows agency's unique branding only 2. Feature Detective - Regular CRM: Unique feature set specific to that CRM - White Label GHL: Has GHL's signature features like: Two-way messaging, Automation builder, Sales pipeline, Calendar booking, Website builder 3. Agency Connection - Regular CRM: Sold directly by CRM company - White Label GHL: Usually offered by marketing agencies 4. Domain Clues - Regular CRM: Uses their own domain - White Label GHL: Might have subtle connection to provider's domain 💪 Pro Tip: If you're unsure, just ask! Most agencies are proud to partner with GHL and will be honest about their white label solution. 🎯 Why This Matters: Understanding these differences helps you make informed decisions about which solution best fits your business needs! Another note, I have been with GHL since 2019 (the beginning) - AMA

Sorry to sound ignorant but I keep seeing this expression 'white label' applied to things recently and I wondered what it actually meant?
