The JKA in the era of Nakayama Shihan - The golden age of Karate!
A great old video showing some of the best world class JKA instructors from the 70's and 80's. π± The JKA was truly at its best under the direction of Nakayama Shihan. πββοΈ I've been lucky enough to train with many of these great Sensei and I must say that the technical, spiritual and power level that they have reached is just extraordinary! They are all so inspiring. π Let's keep training!!! OSS

Straight forward and to the point...just as it ought to be. One can see how such training would produce a spirit/mentality that could address high moments of stress more than adequately.

Awesome Kata Bunkai by Naka Shihan from JKA!
Here's a great video of Naka Tatsuya Shihan showing several Bunkai (applications) from the Heian Kata. Absolutely worth seeing and trying! π₯π Do you practice this kind of applications in your regular training? OSS!
