@Ted Carr What title have you been giving to people?

@Ted Carr Thatโ€™s what I lean towards. Typically I say business owner or business coach; and then when people ask I give the concise elevator pitch!

This is important. You first need to understand who your audience is and what is their main problem. My ideal audience were beginners who wanted to launch and sell their own profitable funnels and offers organically. 2๏ธโƒฃ. I looked for groups and communities where my ideal audience are in. If youโ€™re using Facebook or Skool, joining large and engaged groups and communities is the fastest way of finding and interacting with your ideal clients. I searched and joined Systeme.io related groups because I was mainly using Systeme.io to teach people how to build their own profitable funnels. Tip: Look for official groups/communities of top software/tools youโ€™re using. For example, if youโ€™re into social media marketing and use Canva heavily, join Canva related groups. 3๏ธโƒฃ. Researched what my audience are struggling with. I was constantly observing the groups and researching using keywords. Inside the group/community, on the search bar, I added keywords related to what I wanted to help people with, for example, #funnels, #organicmarketing, #launch etc. Chances are, youโ€™re not the only one within the community who wants to help other people within the same niche/topic. Some people are already present and doing their best to help. Look at their content and check the comment section. Youโ€™ll find questions by members that you can consider creating content on. I also asked questions inside the groups and made list of all the answer/ responses I got. 4๏ธโƒฃ. I started creating content based on the research results. I had a list of so many questions my audience had about my topic. So one by one, I started creating content around those questions and concerns and focused on providing SOLUTIONS. My strategy was simple: Giving away everything and leaving nothing behind. 5๏ธโƒฃ. I created my lead magnet to build my email list.

@Mizbah Rauf Thank you! I think weโ€™re up to 107 now! Every few days, we have an Instagram Reel that does well for us. Itโ€™s just 1 of our conversion strategies, in addition to YouTube.

@Bruno Semedo Still trying to figure YouTube out! As far as Instagram goes, just telling people we have a free course and to comment a keyword. We have a Manychat automation that then sends them a link to our community.

@Derek Kolstad Yes, it does seem highโ€ฆthatโ€™s what Calvin said his community was averaging. It really depends I would think on the quality of traffic your getting into your free community.
Free vs Paid Content...?
If you're running a Free and Paid group it can be difficult to decide what to give away for Free and what to charge for How do you decide what content to give away for free vs paid? From my own experience, this is the best way to think about it๐Ÿ‘‡ What you give away for free has to be enough knowledge, value, and skills so that your members can achieve their goals on their own. However, You have to save enough information for your paid content so that your members WANT & DESIRE you and all the other information that you have in order to achieve their goals FASTER. Here's an example for learning to drive: In the Free content, you teach your members the rules of the road so that they're legally allowed to drive ... BUT because you taught them so well previously, they now WANT you to teach them how to actually drive the car (paid content). Does that make sense? They can technically operate without you but don't want to - get them invested with the free content and then they'll want the paid content once they're hooked!

@Edward Catton Yeah, that seems to be the generally accepted path according to the top Skool folks. Thats what our plan is.
