Day 5 - The Weekend Is Here
When you're building positive habits, the weekend can be an absolute result killer. Our usual schedule changes. Socials much more regular. Traditions like meals. And of course much more alcohol consumed over the weekends. Many people will spend the week shaving off excess calories and absolutely nail it, only to make up a whole day's allowance in one extra excessive meal ๐Ÿ˜ฎ But equally it's important to enjoy life and not erase plessure. It's all about balanceโš–๏ธ How have you got on today, and how are you finding balance this weekend?

7 Day Challenge ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Comment Below ๐Ÿ‘‡
This is a different approach to accountability I'd like to try and see how you guys find it. Mainly as the majority of community are quiet with a few active members. This may be a good way to get things going! I will be putting together a 14 day exercise challenge for you guys soon. But this is slightly different. I want you to choose one single health/fitness/wellbeing action/activity/avoidance of a "negative" activity and I'd like you to make a commitment to that thing for the next 7 days. I CHALLENGE you to make a commitment and go and do (or don't do) that thing. Comment below ๐Ÿ‘‡ I'll post in the group daily for updates- Tomorrow will be challenge day 1. On this thread post your goal. Examples below: ๐Ÿ’ง I will drink 2.5litres of water every day ๐Ÿ’ค I will go to bed 1 hour early (state time) every day ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ I will do some Pilates every day ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ I will build a walk or other exercise in to every day ๐Ÿป I'll lay off the alcohol for 7 days ๐Ÿซ I'll have zero junk food this week .I'll be looking for your updates every day! Good luck, can't wait to work through this with you. Please shout with any questions! Russ

I'm going to build in a walk every day.
Mid-Week Accountability Check In & Challenge
Hey hey! Just checking in mid-week, how are those goals looking? Be it diet, activity, water intake, sleep, stress management - basically any health and wellbeing goals that you have. Are you achieving them? Mid-week is great to reassess, refocus, and make things happen before it's too late. Maybe you over committed? Perhaps you've had a bad start to the week? Don't let these things stand in your way. Let us know in the comments how things are looking and what you are going to do. PS I am looking to run a 14 day challenge in here. A bit of daily exercise, gradually increasing challenge. Who would like to see this? Please vote! Russ

1 year out from spinal surgery. Ditched the walking stick & leg brace & started building leg & foot functionality. It's been a long journey so far!
