If you discover this simple shift it can 3x your sales.
when you label a beggar as the richest man of the day. a company has a problem selling fire alarm. they brought a copywriter who ask a simple question... "how they are made". after some discussions copywriter said "the connector are gold plated we should sell that". the manufacturer reply : all company's connector is gold plated. copywriter : yet, still nobody is taking about it . same as follow in a web series of madmen. In 1st episode when the main character Don Draper ask. "how you make tobacco". client reply : we grow it, cut it, clean it, toast it... don cut them off and says : "its toasted". client : every tobacco is toasted. Don : no. every tobacco is poisoned (company name)is toasted. THEREFORE this is what your unique selling proposition is (USP). things that nobody else has highlighted before. you label something common as unique.

Great catch man, I loved madmen too. "If you don't like what's being said, change the conversation." is one of my favorite advertising quotes.
This book is something else...
I had to post this here cause this is exactly what people sending out mass outreach need to consider: What is the prospect thinking while reading your message? Is their unique view and angle being seen? Or are you only talking about yourself? Put yourself in their position, and tell them what they want to hear. @Shafiur Rahman yup that's the game changer. I'm taking notes, which I'll put into chatgpt at the end of my read, to give me clear and concise principles and application. Much easier to memorise this way, rather than looking through hundreds of pages.

@Tre Heart ty bro 🙌
You don't C.A.R.E. about your client outreach.
Hey guys, wanted to hear your thoughts on my new framework for writing persuasive outreach messages/emails. C = Customize: personalize so that the reader knows the message is definitely for them. A = Awareness: show that you are educated on the niche they are in, to prepare them for... R = Reciprocity: Provide value, people are more likely to feel the need to give back/accept. E = Engagement: Seem like a person they actually want to work with, offer copy for free, be flexible and honest. Build additional intrigue.

@Tre Heart Thanks a lot!
can you answer this question ?
Imagine you and I both own a pizza stand and we were in a contest to see who could sell more pizzas. "What advantage would you likely to have on your side to help you win" ? just do one simple and easy thing comment below your answer.

Better copy, free samples, social proof, friendly staff, referral systems, deals, prizes, etc.
proposal
Hello Everyone, My name is Arbaz, and I started my Upwork journey last month as a social media manager. I’m completely new to this field and don’t have any prior experience. Over the past few days, I’ve sent out five proposals, but unfortunately, none of them have been viewed. I realize that my proposal writing might need improvement, which is why I’m reaching out for help. If anyone could share tips or advice on crafting better proposals, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your support!

Client acquisition is a numbers game. 5 outreaches = 0 replies, not a 'message problem'. 100 outreaches = 0 replies, is a messaging problem. 500 outreaches = 0 replies, is an offer/proposition problem. More than that, then hell, it might be a niche problem. Just what I've gathered over the past 4 months or so - Your number one opponent as a freelancer is repetition (in 99% of cases).

@Arbaz A Before anything, you need to establish a positive association with the prospect. The best way to do this is with Reciprocity and Liking; which basically means give something, and find common ground (similarities, compliments etc.). After you've done that, your priority should be reducing uncertainty, using Social Proof and Authority - anything you can say to make them confident you know what you are talking about. You could even reference other people's advice (authority figures in the niche). Lastly, your objective is to motivate action. Consistency and Scarcity are the ways to do this. Remind them of past actions that would empower the desired action, making it seem like a logical step for someone like them. Warn them of the losses they will incur from inaction. For example: Someone who is very cautious about their health and diet would be relatively easy to persuade into starting the gym, because it's consistent with their habits. And warning them to do so before they grow old and lose their mobility, will motivate them to do it even faster. I hope this helped!
