"Niche" or "You are the niche"?
Hey everyone! I’ve been feeling pretty torn about my niche and could use some advice. I’m a filmmaker with nearly 20 years of experience, and this journey has given me incredible opportunities to explore the world, develop my craft, and gain a unique perspective on life. Along the way, I’ve learned so much about filmmaking, storytelling, and the creative process, and I know I could offer practical insights and skills to help filmmakers and content creators bring their visions to life. At the same time, my worldview has been shaped by a deep sense of connection, mindfulness, and well-being, and I feel passionate about inspiring others to live more meaningful, connected lives. I’m torn between focusing on helping filmmakers and creators with practical tools, diving into the wellness and connection side of things, or finding a way to combine the two—where I integrate filmmaking with personal growth, creativity, and living a purposeful life. Alternatively, I could take the 'you are the niche' approach and let my unique combination of skills and experiences guide me. I’d love to hear your thoughts and any advice you might have!"

@Kenneth Fleece Thanks Kenneth. For me, it’s not about not knowing what to say—I am comfortable talking about my passions, worldview, and philosophy. The real challenge is narrowing my focus when my perspective covers so much ground. It’s hard to fit everything I care about into neatly categorized content, and I think that’s why the algorithm struggles to know who to show it to.

@Daniel Theander This is definitely where i'm at. This feels like the right way to go but I'm just struggling to position my content so that the youtube algorithm knows who i'm trying to target.
Monetizing question
I'm starting with a free community where I'll offer some valuable, accessible courses to begin with. These will provide meaningful insights without requiring the same level of time and resources as the paid ones. Later, I’m considering adding paid courses within the free community. After that, I plan to create a premium paid community that includes all the paid courses and additional exclusive benefits. Does this sound like a good strategy, or are there more effective approaches I should consider?

Embed Youtube links
Is it possible to embed youtube links without making youtube controls visible and prevent users from accessing the video externally? You can only do it by embedding the youtube video but on skool you can't access the source code. how to do it? Thanks to those who would like to help me

i think vimeo allows this but might need a pro account. Can't confirm though as I let go of my youtube subscription recently. Im looking for a similar option so that I can share content in my community that I don't want to have it re-shared outside
How do you define "success" for your skool community ?
Let's be precise and clear.🤓
