#Reflection One niche I have been considering for a while includes both advanced students and teachers. I have been in Higher Education training prospective teachers and translators for 10+ years. In my experience, I have met EFL teachers who wanted personalized lessons to improve their pronunciation, speaking skills and even writing, and they wanted to do this through confidential one-on- one sessions. They did not want to feel exposed in front of others who may know they are teachers. Now I am thinking of arranging small groups of these students from different cities/ countries. I think I could promote these courses through workshops which I would offer to different institutions, so that people could get to know me and my business. I really like this idea of a niche because I love teaching in Higher Ed, but I am walking away from it since the pay is so low where I live.

#How we Overcame Self Doubt What an amusing and inspiring story! It has a very good point: what’s the use of creating loads of material or courses if then we don’t find anyone to sell them to? I agree it’s far better to find potential customers first, even if this means working under a bit more pressure later. But this way you make sure you don’t work for nothing.
