Youtube Unlisted vs Loom
Quick question for all of you creating value-driven posts in your community: are you hosting your videos using YouTube Unlisted or Loom? What would you suggest I use and why?

Use loom for the about page video (it is the only video platform that shows as a GIF in the preview whereas the rest are static) Use wistia for community content, it’s the cleanest, fastest and also the best for protecting your content.

@Leo Simpson $25/m for plus(75 vids), $99/m for pro (500 vids) Comes with a two week trial. Plus should work just fine and it's worth it. Smooth platform.
Youtube Ads & Skool (Alternate to FB Ads)
There isn't many of us but I've spent the last year or so perfecting my YT ads to integrate it as a core part of what I do. Reason for that is because of the lead quality. I personally prefer the YT ads platform over FB (i've ran both), specifically for higher-ticket programs and call/funnels, so if you are running that type of funnel or looking to and want to diversify from FB as the main source of traffic into a program. It's definitely worth trying. Youtube ads is awesome because you're able to target based on INTENT, meaning you can target based on what people are searching. So if you have a offer to train people how to land IT jobs, you can literally target people searching up "IT Resume recommendations" on YT and get in front of them, whereas FB is interest based and you have to rely on FB's AI algorithm for getting in front of those people. Sam Ovens has hosted masterclasses for YT ads in the past because it's a real powerful beast and alot of coaches just don't use it compared to FB even tho it's arguably a better platform. With that being said though, skool doesn't have any way to send conversion data back to google like it can with facebook. So if you're running ads straight to skool, you're better off with FB for now, but if you're running ads to a call funnel and have a proven offer organically/with fb ads, YT ads is a blue ocean. All in all, the power/strength of Youtube ads is that the average quality of the cold traffic there is higher compared to FB due to it's targeting strengths.

How to advertise your Skool (outside of Skool)
I'd love to hear your best ideas if you're willing to share! I have a Skool that I haven't yet advertised and JUST opened. I do have a VIP interest list I created to get my email subscribers fired up. My big plan is to open on this SUNDAY! And for some reason I'm at a loss for ideas!!!!!

How to advertise your Skool (outside of Skool)

Start with your warmest leads then branch out. So newsletter subs, then organic following Then I’d run warm ads to those 2 categories next showing them what they get if they join the group. (You can specifically target anyone’s who’s engaged with your IG page/YT using FB / Google ads) That’ll give you the best ROAS. As for cold audiences I would advertise something lighter like a free lead magnet or to just follow your page or DM you on IG, then once they enter your ecosystem they’ll start getting hit with ads to join your community and also your own call to action in your newsletter and organic content we established in the first step
How do I increase engagment and members?
I need advice from everyone on how to increase the amount of members and engagement in my skool community. The link is https://www.skool.com/trading-with-keshav-3876 if you guys want to join and see how my community looks. Thanks for reading!

@Keshav Suki unless your brand can back it up. Most ppl don't take free stuff seriously. Thats why a good portion of free groups are dead. But that doesn't mean you can't succeed with a free group, you just have to make sure ppl see the value and are committed. Especially with the engagement part. I joined a YT ad group for the course and free pointers, but unless i have a question, i don't engage. if i paid alot for that group, I would engage a whole lot more just because i feel more connected.

@Keshav Suki charge what you think it's worth.
🔵 Scaling Free group with Facebook Ads. How you're doing it?
Started to run Ads with these 2 ad sets. I'm using dynamic creative (3 videos, 7 images). I'm targeting coaches, consultants and infopreneurs who earn at least $10K/mo, have a proven offer and want to scale their business to 1M+/year. Currently 0 sign-ups. The CTR is at 1%. Should I update the creatives or let it run until sign-ups start to show up (and optimize from there)?

I do Youtube Ads in very similar markets and heres the thing they don't tell you. Coaches & Consultants are a very sophisticated market to run ads to. Especially ones that make money, because they are familiar with most surface-level marketing tactics you use for them. They also are in "the know" of trends in the market. "Free-value" "Skool" ect... I found a direct approach or honest approach works best with coaches and experts nowadays. No fluff, no time wasting, transparency is good too. For example, sam ovens had a sales method he taught that works REALLY well by making their prospects really emotional at the end by asking what their personal goals were and some other tactics too. I tried using this same tactic on coaches (ppl like you) and they didn't resonate and saw right through it, but then i switched my calls to be more conversational and straightforward (still asking about their goals, just in a more professional sense) and sales became alot easier for me. When you're advertising this skool group, don't think that cuz it's free, ppl are just gonna join. A real coach thats in the know would probably skip over it. They dont care if its free or not, they care if it helps them. You gotta hit it where it hurts and make it ultra specific to the problem they have to lure them in. You also gotta not sound too salesy or samey in your ads too.
