📽 New Recordings Added 🙌
Good afternoon all. I've added 2 new recordings of live conversations I've had the past 2 days: - Yesterday John, a subscriber, joined our live Q&A and we discussed lots of things related to Wills and estate planning. That recording is in Classroom - Q&A _ Estate Planning. - Today I hosted our FREE live Q&A and a few of you joined. It was awesome. We discussed what happens when a parent passes away without a Will and which of the children may inherit the property. That recording is in Classroom - Free Q&A's Have a look and let me know if we need to address other questions.

@Francois Vorster morning, The attorney that handled my mum's estate , she passed in 2013, she did not have a will, so the attorney made my dad the executor in mums estate, dad had a will drawn up in 2022 in October leaving the attorneys executor because I lived in Gauteng and dad lived in Durban, dad was sick at that time and we thought that he might pass without a will, so the attorney drew up a temporary will until I was Available on a condition we amend the will, In December 2022 Dad amended the will, however all 4 of my siblings was present and the attorney advised all of us that dad nominated me as an executor, however dad fell ill and he fainted so the attorney said she will amend the will . However she never did, dad passed on 22 November 2023. I battled to get a executorship letter from the attorneys.I signed documents in June 2024 , however I need the letter to act on my dad's municipal account, They led me on to believe the letter will give me authority to act on dad's behalf but to my surprise 3 months later I am told that the attorneys are the executor as per my dad's last will. So Then I asked them how is it. They responded that they are the executor as per dad's will and I am an executor in my mum's estate. I said dad was the executor in mums Estate , they are lying and misleading my family, not giving us a breakdown of charges, They said since mums bill was not paid since 2013 but the estate was only registered in 2017 , they charged us R27000 rand of which R11500 was paid. Now they are acting bit not furnishing us of the cost involved. My dad left me an executor to make decisions on his behalf, but they have taken that right misleading me . Now apparently there's 2 estates . Please advise as it's a mess in my head.
