Bookkeeping Tip - Seperate Personal and Skool money
Hey Everyone, The thing cool about entrepreneurship is how a small hobby becomes a side hustle, and then becomes part-time job, and then becomes a full-time gig. Before you know it, you're bringing in thousands of dollars from your little hobby... So how do you deal with your revenue and expenses??? If you are starting out, one of my best pieces of advice is to open another bank account just for Skool. -When you are just starting, transfer a chunk of money into this account for an initial investment -Any money you make is deposited into this account. -Any standard subscriptions are withdrawn from this account (Skool, canva, chatgpt, CRM) -Any ads campaigns are spent from this account. -If you are starting to make some money, PAY YOURSELF - actually transfer or write yourself a check to PAY YOURSELF a chunk of money, even if its only a $100. -If the account is low, transfer/deposit another chunk of money into the account from your personal funds. Keeping your business accounts separate will save you SO much time and energy down the road. WHEN you start growing and scaling, these initial habits will be essential. Start thinking like a business early! Don't wait until you make money. Get the foundations in place will hold you more accountable to yourself. What other bookkeeping tips do you have to share? Let's start Doing Business Right! DBR

Yep, this part is so important. I have several accounts to help keep my income/expenses separate. While the intention is there, I'll admit it isn't always straight forward. There is a lot of transferring of funds given my current financial situation. Looking forward to the day all of these accounts are maxed to their FDIC amounts and I can continue my REI projects. I have the most fun with those.
What do you do when everything goes wrong?
Last night, I held the "Break Free from the Good Girl Trap" event via Zoom. I had everything prepared - my outline, my notes, the docs I wanted to share. (Not my norm!) Yet, once I let everyone in, technology decided to have its way with me. 😞 It was like the Universe said, "Hey, isn't she cute having everything planned out and organized? Who IS she? Let's have some fun." 🤣 I could not get my event outline and notes to show up on my other screen! 😱 WTF was I going to do? I ordinarily do NOT have an agenda or outline for events. I connect with the Divine to Guide me on what needs said and done. I must have messed with it for what felt like 15 minutes. I'm sure it was not that long. The really cool thing is: 💚 I did not panic. 💚 I did not cry. 💚 My face did not get red. 💚 I didn't even swear in my head! Now, I was definitely frustrated and a bit worried as I tried to get things to work. An older version of me would have freaked out and just said, "Fuck it. We'll try again another time." And then screamed and cried and "died" of embarrassment. 😂 What I realized and what my friend @Theresa Lang confirmed for me a bit ago - was that I was A ROLE MODEL of what it is like to Be THE DIVA. 👑 I modeled what it is like to have escaped the "good girl trap" in which one is terrified of judgment and disapproval. I knew that I was safe. I wasn't going to die. People weren't going to talk badly about me. And if they did, who cared?! How many of us entrepreneurs have had technological snafus? Most of us! So I am really proud of myself! And I watched the replay of the event before I went to bed and it was really awesome! 😁 I had a friend recently remind me that I bring order to chaos. It is one of my superpowers. And last night was proof. Decisive. Independent. Vibrant. Authentic. Impactful. Confident. Bold. Compassionate. Forgiving. Kind. Loving. Just some of the attributes of an empowered DIVA living authentically and courageously, no matter what life throws at her. 💥

Are you part of the solution or the problem?
ATTENTION PLEASE! 😁 If you are a woman reading this I have a mission for you. You have freedom millions of other women in this world do not. Now, I don't like to "put responsibility" on people, but I ask you to consider this. We are ALL connected energetically. Science has proven we are essentially made of star dust. Therefore, what we do for ourselves, we do for all people. 🌍 It is why I am so passionate about doing MY inner work because I know it benefits not only me and my lineage, but YOU and your lineage too. We are imprinted with SO much conditioning about who we "should" be and how we "should" act. Most people aren't even aware of how this conditioning restricts them because it is hiding out in your subsconcious and unconscious mind. 🤯 SO many women resonated with my post on FB about women taking back our f*ing power. 🦾 And that it is EMPOWERED WOMEN who are going to change the world for the better. 🌍 💖 What kind of world do you want to live in? 💖 What kind of person do you want to be? 💖 What impact are YOU going to make during the years you have left on Earth this time around? I am here to help LIBERATE women from the shackles of our crappy conditioning that keep us SILENT, playing small, and putting ourselves last because that is what "good girls" do. 😤😠 If you want to contribute to positive change, join me for "Break Free from the Good Girl Trap" on Thursday. We are going to gather in solidarity to begin to unravel all this BS that has kept us from being Decisive, Independent, Vibrant and Authentic. (DIVA!) 💃🏼 It is TIME to stop being a doormat and take back your power! 👑 And if you're already "there", I invite you to join us so you can share your high vibration and frequency with women who are still on that path to liberation and need support. Register in advance here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEtce-rrzkiE9FpVyOxuyW9Kra8J4g3Afdr If you're not a part of the movement, you're contributing to the problem with your complacency.

I’m with you ALL THE WAY @Chanin Zellner . I’ve been sharing more and more about how young girls shouldn’t have to do “the work” that we are very aware of and very empowered to do. I want to help moms realize their own DIVA power, embody it and lead by example to their daughters. Social conditioning for women is centuries old and while technically has evolved, our social structures have continued to remain and hold us back. Not anymore. When you know better, you do better or else you’re no better. 🙌🏽❤️‍🩹
