Just thought I would share something that made me feel rewarded. We have one of those fancier scales with an app that tells you a lot about your body. ( If not everyone knows, I did my cleanse on Saturday/sunday/monday to make myself more available to watch my 22 month granddaughter Tues-Fri this week. ) When I got on the scale this morning I saw that I had reduced my metabolic age by 2 yrs! A lot of other numbers improved too so I’m happy I completed my quest in The Glow Up! I found that the warm drinks provided rewards and the juices were more satisfying. So combined them through out the day. Only 1 day left so remind yourself that you got this!!!

Welcome to Day 1 of the Glow Up Juice Cleanse!!
First, let me say how EXCITED I am for everyone who is doing the juice cleanse! I've always done the cleanse solo or with my immediate family and this is my first time sharing this journey with a group. I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see you all lifting one another up and supporting one another. Thank YOU for being here! Yesterday I prepared all of my juices for the 3 days, plus juices for my entire family and beautiful friend @Rob Chandler I prepared thirty - 32 oz juices and six - 32 oz mason jars of homemade vegetable broth. I used 2 juicers and had some technical difficulties with one of my juicers (the Breville, not the Nama J) so the process took 6.5 hours (from start to clean up). Thanks to my mom and son, I was able to get it done, otherwise I would've been juicing until the wee hours of the morning lol I did attempt to record video while I was doing the juicing, but I was already team doing too much so I snapped some pics instead. I will record more videos later for sure : ) Here's a pic of some of the juices and veggie broth I prepared. Below is a list of ingredients. @Leisa Moseley Sayles I had broth for dinner each night followed by a relaxing cup of tea. On the first day of the cleanse, at one point I felt like I had a slight buzz. Lasted about a half hour. Some may not agree, but I was happy for it 🤗. Hope everyone is doing well “chugging along”!

@Tiffany Washington I remember making the “today is the day” decision many years ago. So I know your thoughts. But! Mind over matter, one step at a time and before you even realize it, it’s happening! And you will enjoy the journey and the outcome.
Breakfast
Thought I’d share a tasty and nutritious breakfast with you all 🫶🏽 raw cacao chia pudding with strawberry overnight oats, hemp, chia and flax seeds with bananas and a drizzle of vegan honey. Not much to look at but it’s delicious and super filling! The chia pudding is just cacao, chia seeds, organic soy milk and medjool dates blended together. The overnight oats are rolled oats, sliced strawberries, flax, hemp hearts, chia seeds, vanilla, maple syrup and soy milk. Normally I would sprinkle some cacao nibs on here as well but I’m out 😩
