First cold calling session today wondering does anyone have any advice on how to convert more leads to meeting

Running paid ads rn and we are getting leads, not all great some are just looking for jobs not actual clients looking to grow, a big thing we are facing is when we booked them in for a demo after the intro we are getting a lot of no shows. Any idea how this could be helped? 1/3 through our budget rn so wanna make sure I can fix this asap.

Hi guys, I am currently doing lead gen for contractors and with my first client i managed to get him 54 leads in the first month which was a great campaign this is with qualifying questions . Now I am working with 3 other clients and I have near enough replicated the other campaign, but it's not working anywhere near as good. I have even made changes to creatives and AD copies but I am still not getting the results I would like to be seeing, the cost per lead is going too high. I have tried to look at changing around the area radius as well, it's also on a broad audience so I'm not having issues with a small audience. Any suggestions on what else I could be doing?

6 Discovery calls booked today from 70 cold calls, feel like if the answer rate was higher i would have been able to do more. I aim to do 100 calls a day & set 10 discovery's a day, don't always achieve this but aim too do so. Feel like i lack on closing too, something to work on...😇 But it has worked a lot better for me doing 3 steps rather than one cold call then a zoom and close, it's enabled me to build rapport with clients. What is everyone else's opinion on cold calling to close?
