What would you like to see in your Redtail experience?
Hello RIA Operators Community! We want to create the next version of Redtail with you involved. You are our avid users, supporters and we want to get insight from you. As we shape how Redtail should grow to support your business, we want to know what's most important to you. If you're not a current Redtail user, we want to hear from you too! Here's a quick survey to start the dialog, those interested can take it a step further if they want to sign up for new concept testing and more. https://t.maze.co/179110267?source=RIAOperators

@Nikki Sweet We would love to see direct integrations with scheduling platforms like Calendly and improved overall functionality of the calendar (it's very slow to load and can be difficult to read when trying to overlay a few team members). We also haven't been able to run the workflow task report in several months. We've submitted tickets to the Redtail Helpdesk and are told it's a known issue, but never hear anything further.

@Nikki Sweet Thank you! Very much appreciated.
Quik! Forms vs. LaserApp vs. PreciseFP
I'm interested in anyone's experience with each of these. What have you used, or if you've used more than one, which do you prefer? https://precisefp.com/forms-tool-comparison-chart/

We like PreciseFP, but haven't used the others so cannot compare.
What, another meeting?!?!
We have had those meetings. You know, the ones that seem to have a life of their own, and not necessarily a good one. Since starting with NFA, I have struggled to get meetings under control. Some meetings can be text messages or emails; others are important, and discussion is needed and an outcome is necessary. "The hard truth is, bad meetings almost always lead to bad decisions, which is the best recipe for mediocrity." Patrick Lencioni, Death by Meeting: A Leadership Fable About Solving the Most Painful Problem in Business I am trying to create an environment where it is understood that a meeting requires an agenda, not a free-for-all discussion. I do use daily check-ins where each person gives a quick update of the day's expected to-dos. I keep the check-in to 5 minutes to make sure we focus and drill down on the big rocks. What approaches do you use to guide and contain meetings?

Our team has used the "L10 format" from EOS for the last 7 or 8 years. It's a weekly meeting that starts at the same time (on time!), ends at the same time (on time!), and follows the same agenda. There is time built into the agenda for updates, review of our metrics/scorecard, and most importantly a time for us to discuss issues and ideas. Everyone on the team can add things to the list of items to discuss. This meeting is highly effective and often eliminates the need for countless other unnecessary or unproductive meetings. We love the EOS framework and have found these meetings to be a game charger: https://www.eosworldwide.com/blog/perfect-meeting

Well that's exciting! Thank you.
What is your favorite Workflow?
We're looking to be more intentional with workflows for Redtail. We currently use workflows for review prep, onboarding, and terminating clients. Thinking about utilizing for money movement, but we are a small firm so not sure if that juice is worth the squeeze. What workflows do you use or wish you did? Do you use workflows for all money movement or only future dated transactions?

We have a lot of workflows as well. Current favorites are our Account Rollover, Sales Process, and New Account workflows. We also use an Activity/Task template for money movement, unless it's something more involved like backdoor Roth contributions, Roth conversions or charitable giving. We have workflows for those.
