Has Doug Graham given his thoughts on how Dr Brooke Goldner's protocol works?
Dr Brooke Goldner, MD, healed herself of lupus and kidney disease by cutting out all junk (she was vegetarian and consumed lots of cheese) and ate high amounts of flax seeds as well as avocado and dark leafy greens and cruciferous veggies but low fruit. In essence raw vegan, high fat. This has been well over 14 yrs ago and she now guides others to heal of diseases using the same protocol. Low fruit, unlimited avocado, at least 1/2 c flax seed daily, 1# leafy greens, 1# cruciferous veggies, 1 gallon water. I'd say this was high fat. So how is she healthy as well as all the people she had helped heal?

@Richard Gambino her husband is Thomas Tadlock who was a top personal trainer. When he r3alized what had happened for his wife, he changed his protocol. He has videos showing his body recomposition eating high fat, low carb... even "low" protein (for a body builder).

I do know that. But he says it's wrong and poison to eat a different way yet here she is, Dr Brooke Goldner MD, who not only healed herself, she is helping countless others using her same formula. Maybe there's more than "one way".

@Richard Gambino honestly, thank you for this admonition.... rereading the book now.
toothpaste
Asking for your advice and what you do about tooth brushing. Is baking soda okay to use? I know you don't have to use anything but I kind of like the idea of the possible whitening aspect of baking soda (or is that a myth)? One of my friends uses baking soda mixed with coconut oil. what do you think of that? I tried it. it's kind of weird and slimy in my mouth. thanks in advance for your input.

@Barbara Whitney I stopped using tooth paste and even good for you tooth soap perhaps 15 yrs ago, when I changed to "whole food" eating. It was about 2010 I had two molars Crack in half (old fillings) and a filling fell out! I was terrified of the sure-to-come pain; I couldn't afford the dentist! I've never had pain. Never had them repaired. I switched to whole plants about 2014. XO
excitotoxins and neurotoxins
I understand that additives like MSG are excitotoxins and neurotoxins. They overstimulate the brain and are probably not healthy, though I don't have a good feel for how unhealthy they are. Is it fair to say that a lot of restaurants use these additives in their food? Can you give other examples of additives restaurants or food companies might use that are excito- or neurotoxins? is salt an example? I just want to get an idea and give an idea to clients how unhealthy restaurant food is, and I don't want to exaggerate if it's not that bad. it's just that, when people are making a gradual transition towards more fruit, I don't think they will see many health improvements, and I want to be able to explain why, without being unkind.
