Day 2
Day 2 reaffirmed what I already suspected about being in a state of functional freeze. It also reaffirmed that a lot of the things I’m doing (being strict on sleeping habits, turning phone off at least 1 hour before bed, doing breath work etc) are all helping me. My too highest scores were A and B, but the androgens also scored 6. And I also eat more or less in the circadian rhythm, usually stopping food by 7:30 pm, and then having breakfast around 8:30 am give or take (I wake up around 6:45 am). But I don’t usually wake up feeling rested (that would be closer to 7:30 if I didn’t have to get to work…)

Finally starting!
I wasn’t able to attend the sessions last week, but I just watched Day 1. I’m at an ok level of protein (70-90g/day). This is something that I have been working on increasing, while still maintaining good digestion (I get really constipated if I go too high in protein too fast). Sugar is the one that I struggle to reduce the most… (I’m already dairy free and mostly gluten and corn free). I do find soy a bit hard because of how many things it’s hidden in… and living in Asia, it’s a staple! My main issues are cortisol and insulin, and I appreciated what Dr. Nancy spoke to with the triangle, because it was my sex hormones that got me started on the inquiry. So I’m looking forward to learning more over the next few days! (I’m pretty sure my nervous system is deregulated).

I’m just doing day 2 now. A and B (8 yes’s for each) are my 2 highest scores with F coming in 3rd. I’ve been out with a flu again… and for the second month in a row, this flu (low grade temp (below 37C but about 0.2C above my normal range), sore throat) is right before my period. So basically a period flu with achy joints instead of my normal pms (bloating, breast tenderness).
Food lists for day 1??
Hey! I have looked through the hormone reset workbook, but I don’t see the pages with the foods listed in different colours for the inventory. Did I miss something? In general, my cupboards are a bit bare right now, as I need to go shopping 😆, but I know that there is definitely more sugar (in the form of dark chocolate) than I probably should be eating
