What is your favourite gi or gi brand?
Question for my pajama friends out there. I have a batch 11 Shoyoroll that I really enjoy. Falling apart a bit but I still love it.

Origin seems go be getting a couple of votes. Maybe worth checking out.
Question to Black Belts
My question to all black belts is, how long did it take you to get your black belt? what were some lessons you've learned whilst getting it, and what does life feel like after getting it?

Consistency was a big element for me.
What your favourite takedown/throw
Personally I come from judo (just got my orange belt let's goooo) so Uchi Mata would be my favourite but what's yours, if it's a judo throw I would be happy to help any form mistakes/questions.

My favourite is the fireman's carry
How do you find time to constantly train? Especially if you have a family with kids.
Looking for some tips or advice here as my training has been lacking due to so many demands from family & business.

I have a 5 year old son and regularly brought him with me to training since he was a couple of months old. What helped me was realizing that a bad day is better a missed day. So even if I wasn't able to participate as much as I would have liked, I was still present and my routine of showing up to training was consistent. Once he was 3+ he was good to play on the mats which opened up more training time for me. The club I train at is also hyper family friendly so there was always someone ready and willing to wrangle a little one for a rest round.
Rehab.
I'm working on my shoulder rehabilitation before the fall semester starts. But I have such bad self-discipline. Now the son-in-law will also start BJJ so I have to get started. Can't lose to him. Want the grandchild to know that grandpa is stronger than dad. 😁💪🤙

I found the Turkish get-up movement very beneficial in strengthening my shoulder for jiu jitsu. Maybe worth a look? All the best on your shoulder rehab.
