Heat transfer vinyl for gis and belts

Hello friends,

Does anyone have experience with heat transfer vinyl on gis and belts? I recall there were a couple of companies in the past who did this for competitors.

I ask as I think it's a nice touch to for promotions to give a belt with the student's name on it.

I have tried some embroidery but they are quite costly.
