Hi all, I am trying to model a Bell KC7-CMR racing helmet. I have followed both of Nikita's awesome helmet tutorials to bring the model this far, but now I am totally stuck. My problem is I cannot figure out how to recreate the triangular inset area just above the main visor screw (highlighted in pink) while smoothly joining it to the existing curvature. I've spent a week trying to figure this out (with at least 50 start over attempts), but I have made no progress and feel incredibly frustrated. Is there a better/simpler way for me to approach this helmet? Have I modelled myself into an impossible corner approaching it the way I have? Any help would be very, very much appreciated. Hi everyone! I am following Nikita's amazing bike helmet tutorial, but I have a problem I need some help with. I cannot seem to add fillets or chamfers to the edges like Nikita does at 22:18 and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I've gotten errors such as "edge is not laminar". I've tried the tutorial from scratch many times but I always run into this same problem. I have attached my Plasticity file if anyone would be kind enough to take a look. My file has followed the tutorial until adding the fillets. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
