Help with Bell KC7-CMR Helmet Shape

Hi all,

I am trying to model a Bell KC7-CMR racing helmet. I have followed both of Nikita's awesome helmet tutorials to bring the model this far, but now I am totally stuck.

My problem is I cannot figure out how to recreate the triangular inset area just above the main visor screw (highlighted in pink) while smoothly joining it to the existing curvature. I've spent a week trying to figure this out (with at least 50 start over attempts), but I have made no progress and feel incredibly frustrated.

Is there a better/simpler way for me to approach this helmet? Have I modelled myself into an impossible corner approaching it the way I have? Any help would be very, very much appreciated.
