Which Test Won? (Shifting The Focus Of 'FREE')
So, I thought it would be fun to start a new series here called "Which Test Won..." We have a dozens of active split tests running every day on all our funnels, and we never get to show off the cool stuff we're learning, SO... would you be ok if I started post results here for you all to learn from!?! :) Ok... the goal of this first test was to set out to improve the VIP upgrade form in the Your First Funnel Challenge by reworking the headline alignment to see if focusing on VIP would improve order rates. So many say that a strong headline can drive results—but does that depend on *which* benefit you highlight? ================ TEST: Where Is The Focus Of The FREE!? A) Trial Free? B) VIP Free? The test focusing on the VIP free increased conversions my 19.95% which added an additional 335+ new trials per month from the same traffic! ================ Originally, the headline read, “Start Your FREE 30-Day Trial of ClickFunnels 2.0 and get the VIP Experience for FREE!” The 30-Day Trial took the lead, with VIP as the secondary bonus. We rephrased it to make VIP the star: “Get The VIP Experience For FREE And Start Your FREE 30-Day Trial of ClickFunnels 2.0!” This simple shift paid off. Our updated headline led to a 19.69% jump in order rate, a solid win with higher conversions. That means more users saw the VIP experience as the top value driver, and the trial became an added bonus. The takeaway? Don’t hesitate to reframe your headline’s focus to see what resonates best with your audience. It’s all about testing what truly connects—so that you know your headline is doing its job where it matters most.

How does the trial work? You sign up with your CC and don't pay anything until the month after?
Refer a friend for a challenge
Does anyone have experience with using a "refer a friend" strategy for ar a challenge? We are just shy of 7,000 registrants and I wanna maximize the last week before the challenge next week. I'm thinking a competition with prizes for the top 10. What are your thoughts?

🔥 [Firefighter to Funnel Builder] The Hero's Journey Framework
Hey Prime Movers, At the Selling Online event, we were introduced to the Hero's Journey Framework, thanks to Russell Brunson. As I listened, I couldn’t help but see how my own story fits right into that narrative. So, I figured I’d share my journey with you through that lens, to give you a sense of WHO I AM and WHY I’m here. Phase 1: Separation from the Ordinary World When I was a teenager, I wasn’t exactly the best kid. I ran with the wrong crowd and did a lot of things I’m not proud of. By the time I was 20, I was on a path to NOWHERE. I didn’t go to college, was living paycheck to paycheck, and had NO GOALS, NO DIRECTION, NO PURPOSE in life. Then one day, I made a decision. A SINGLE DECISION that would change EVERYTHING. I DECIDED to stop doing all the stupid things that had gotten me to that point. I DECIDED to stop hanging around people who dragged me down and instead sought out those who would LIFT ME UP. I made the COMMITMENT to become a career Firefighter, no matter what it took. I wanted more than just to exist. I wanted to live a life that had MEANING, made a DIFFERENCE, and impacted others. I wanted to live a life that I could be PROUD of. So, in 2001, I started down that path. It wasn’t easy, but through HARD WORK, DEDICATION, and SHEER WILLPOWER, I was able to change the course of my life. I became the man I knew I was meant to be. Eventually, I became a Firefighter, and it’s been a fulfilling and rewarding career. I’ve experienced a level of SATISFACTION and PRIDE that most people never get to feel. Phase 2: The Journey, the Conflict, and the Villain But by the end of 2018, something was missing. Life was good—I had a GREAT JOB, a WONDERFUL FAMILY—but deep down, I wasn’t completely fulfilled. I felt like I needed to do more, but I didn’t know what. I felt like I was capable of more, but I didn’t know how to unlock it. Then one day, I was reading a book and came across a quote that hit me like a ton of bricks: “DO SOMETHING THAT SUCKS EVERY DAY.” 💥

Beware of Shiny Object Syndrome ✨
I’m currently reading The Art of Money Getting by P.T. Barnum, and one of the chapters that really struck me is called "Beware of Outside Operations." Barnum talks about how some people, after building a fortune, end up losing it all by getting involved in things they don’t fully understand...often because they’re chasing after “big wins” outside their area of expertise. This reminds me of shiny object syndrome... It’s that urge we get to chase every new idea or opportunity that looks like it’s going to bring fast success. You know the feeling...you see a new business trend, an investment opportunity, or some new tool, and suddenly it seems like this is going to be the thing that makes everything easier. But, more often than not, it just pulls you away from what’s actually working. Barnum explains that many people lose everything when they stray from what they know best. They forget that their success came from being focused, disciplined, and mastering their field. When they start investing large sums of money in areas they don’t understand, they set themselves up for failure. Barnum compares it to Samson losing his strength after being shorn of his locks—without focus, you’re no stronger than anyone else. If you’ve ever been tempted by the latest and greatest new opportunity, this is a reminder to stay focused on what you do best. Here’s how you can avoid falling into the trap of shiny object syndrome: 1. Stick to Your Strengths: Keep your focus on the business or skills that got you this far. If you’re doing well in your current field, doubling down on what works will take you much further than switching gears too often. 2. Limit Your Risk: If you do want to explore new opportunities, make sure it’s only with a small amount of your resources. Don’t gamble your entire business or fortune on something you don’t fully understand. 3. Remember Why You Succeeded: Your success didn’t happen by chance. It came from hard work, focus, and persistence. Don’t lose sight of that by jumping into something new just because it sounds exciting.
