Welcome! Learn the RULES + Introduce yourself + Become a SpeakPreneur 🎉
Let's get to know each other! - First Comment below sharing where you are in the world. - Post a photo of your workspace - Let us know what you'd like to speak about on stage! Here are our Rules: Hey there, SpeakPreneur! As we expand our awesome community, it’s time to lay down a few ground rules to keep this place as supportive and fun as possible. Think of these as the secret ingredients to our recipe for success. 🍰 1. Spread the Love, Not the Hate 💖 • Rule: Be kind, be respectful, and leave the drama at the door. No room for personal attacks or negativity here! • Why: Because uplifting lead to great things, and we’re all about lifting each other up. 2. Stick to the Script 🎯 • Rule: Keep your posts on-topic and relevant to our goals in speaking and helpful for those in the community. Randomness is for memes, not our discussion threads. • Why: To keep the convo juicy and focused on what matters most—growth on stage! 3. Build, Don’t Bash 🛠️ • Rule: Got feedback? Make it constructive. We’re here to build each other up, not tear each other down. • Why: Because positive feedback fuels progress! 4. Promote with Purpose 🚫 • Rule: Share value, not just your links. This isn’t the place for endless self-promotion or selling your stuff. • Why: We’re here to help each other grow, not to become a commercial break. 5. What Happens in the Hub, Stays in the Hub 🤐 • Rule: Respect everyone’s privacy. No sharing of private messages or personal info without permission. • Why: Trust is key to a strong community, and we’ve got plenty of it! 6. Got a Problem? Hit Us Up 🆘 • Rule: If something’s off, let the admins know. We’re here to keep things running smoothly. • Why: Because we’ve got your back, and we want to keep the Hub a safe space. 7. Keep It Original 🎨 • Rule: Share your own content or give credit where it’s due. No copycats allowed! • Why: Originality rocks, and we love to see your unique ideas shine. 8. Join the Party 🎉 • Rule: Don’t be a wallflower—jump in, share your thoughts, and help others out.

@Luis Del Pino welcome to the community!!
You Suck at This!!!
Remember, your first speech is going to suck! Your first Podcast is going to suck! Your first Blog is going to suck. Your first product is going to suck! Your first video is going to suck! Here is what you can do about that... KEEP GOING! This will always be a learning processes. A year form now you will suck less... but you will still suck! So keep going! It takes on average a person 2 years to thoroughly learn a job and 5 years to fully master it. It takes 90 days just to learn basics of most jobs. (that is why most employers have a 90 day probationary/training period) So if it takes 90 days working full time to learn the basics at almost any job, what do you think you need to do to get good at this? So go out there and suck at this more.

Hey Brandy! This is a loaded question. There are more than one way to get paid in speaking. You can get paid after if you have an offer, or if your looking to get paid to speak at corporate events thats totally different. what are you looking to do?

This is awesome, One of the best ways I've learned is by Paul Getter, he gets you to make a small program for people to join after the talk. Charge for the program. This is just one way! But I would go through the class room content!!
