Lessons or classes?
For those of you working through my Kali, TKD, or Nunchaku courses. Should I focus on filming the technique lessons for all the courses and then go back to filming the classes, or should I stick to filming classes and only do the technique breakdowns after they’ve been covered in a class.

I've always found it easier to have the technique broken down before doing it in a follow along class, but that may just be me.
Considering taking a few months just to loosen up
You see it all the time but you do not take action on it. 'Stretching isn't that important', 'I'll do it when I get home' and unfortunately stretching doesn't work like that, at least for me. So after thinking it over when it comes to balancing weight lifting with martial arts without getting too stiff, I'm considering just taking 3 months to do nothing else but stretch and become more flexible. Am I overthinking this or would you do the same given you've been training martial arts since v young and stretching was never your most favourite thing to do before or after any workout. Thanks for reading; Love from London, England

There is also the dynamic stretching option which you should use along side your static stretches. Doing the moves to the edge of your range of motion while you practice will help you build strength, mobility, and loosen up your body faster. You just have to listen to you body so that you don't go to far with throwing a kick too high or too hard when you are getting used to your limits.
Introduce Yourself Here
I'll start. My name is Adam Gerrald, and basically, all I do is train and think about martial arts. I've been training in various styles for a little over 18 years now. Most of my experience is in BJJ, TKD, Kali, and Nunchaku. But I've also done a few years of Muay Thai, Capoeira, and Wing Chun. In January of this year, I began Fencing and I'm having a blast doing that. My current martial arts goals are: Train for Purple Belt IBJJF Worlds in August. Build out my 3 main courses (Nunchaku, Kali, TKD) Build out a Jiu Jitsu Map Library Share a little bit about your past and your current goals.

@Nathaniel Ranis nice to meet you Nathaniel. Are you practicing the Bujinkan/Genbukan/Jinenkan lineage, or one of the other systems of taijutsu?

@Nathaniel Ranis I've dabbled, but I wouldn't say I'm actively practicing any of the systems. I worked with someone who was part of the Bujinkan system, so I saw some of it through him. I also have a ton of Hatsumi, Van Donk, Bussey, Hayes, Tanemura, Hoban, Severance, and various other sources of videos for them. It's interesting stuff, but the movement style just never felt right to me to keep practicing.
Update 3
Hey guys, I’ve been sick all this week which is pretty frustrating since I havnt been able to train it’s driving me crazy. I did how ever manage to get a few kali lessons up in the 8 angle kali course if you want to check those out. Hope everyone’s training has been going well. Keep at it and let me know if you guys need anything 🤙

Hope you feel better soon. I can relate. I'm recovering from walking pneumonia. Still a bit rough to do anything physical. I get out of breath very quickly.
Post Youtube Instructional Videos Here
If you like a specific YouTube instructional video. Post it on this channel (Youtube Dojo) and I'll work on categorizing the ones submitted into a classroom course for that style of martial art. feel free to help me categorize as well

I have been practicing martial arts off and on for the past 20+ years. I am trying to get back in to a regular practice after a some down time.
