Hey guys do you charge sales tax to your clients? As in the package is $_____ +gst or do you charge as $____ only and then eat the sales tax costs at the end of the year?
@Jakob Johnston my thoughts exactly but then I get yelled at by people in other industries or tax heads. But they do have a point... then we gotta eat that bill and it can become a double edged sword. That +gst could be a hard swing with high ticket. Looking for a way to do it right or properly brace for impact at the end of the tax year. Thanks for the feedback
@Nevan Beausoleil thanks for the feedback. Hey if they're really sold and they can financially do it I can see that being an easy conversation but cant high ticket throw that off? "Hey its a $2500 package" but a 7% sales tax would be an extra $175 making the bill noticeably higher than the pitched price. Sounds like you're already doing it though so props to you! Do you encounter many objections after the final price is presented?
Happy Monday y'all. Question for the FB Wizards in the group. For Personal Business Facebooks is it best to have a separate facebook page that's still connected to the personal or should we create a new FB profile with a new email address (separate sign in)?
