17k on ads NOT one appointment! Need help!
Just joined this amazing startup Optifino with the former commish of the IRS on the board! They've spent 17k on ads the past 2 months running these ads (attached). And basically slight variations of this same exact style and landing page. 161 Total leads, no appointments. Maybe connected with 10 people on the phone. I'm guessing it's the topic. Nobody shopping for this on fb, much less in general. Probably should provide some kind of buffer content in between that leads them to think about reasons to get life insurance. Articles/videos about raising kids, working a tough job, retirement, taking care of older parents, that type of thing. And a very casual mention about your service, but it is not the main point of the content.
Anyone else feeling super stuck?
Not with the actual content, although Youtube and FB look completely different these days. But just in general. I felt stuck for years. Suddenly I decided to get creative and write a book. While doing that, I also wrote an album and published a bunch of videos. I've kinda always known the steps to take, but something internally would always stop me. I feel like I just ran into that same wall again. Maybe I need to take my own advice from all of the content that I made?

Funnel question for ya'll
We have a couple of courses that are hosted on Lightspeed VT. The courses are interactive, which I absolutely love, btw. Their platform is impressive, and it has huge bandwidth. But their system is not user friendly for muggles. The landing pages they offer, which have the ability to make them interactive as well, seem like they require expertise we don't have and will likely never acquire. We need funnels/landing pages that don't require coding expertise or wordpress experience to produce? When we talk to the support staff about funnels/landing pages, it's like the concept of us making a funnel is foreign to them. Their platform is aimed at clients who pay their own marketing teams to execute that side of things. So their interface is not plug and play. I'm starting to think They're not accustomed to folks jumping in with them who are just getting started?

full muggle mode, use stanstore. full pro mode, use gohighlevel (may induce overwhelm). something in between would be Kajabi, or if you want more customization, I'm using systeme.io. it's not quite muggle mode, but the actual upkeep costs are the lowest.

@Gregory Mote they seem to have dropped the ball before, but yeah. if you are not technical be sure to be specific about what you want them to do.
Video ad strategy... WTF FB?
Remember what social media was like when algorithms didn't hyper-optimize for what it "thinks" you want to see next. You'd check up on your friends, see what they're into, and sometimes stumble onto a new person or topic that seemed interesting. Then, naturally, you would consume more of their content on purpose. Then, if they had something to offer that resonated with you, you would buy it. If not, no harm, no foul. Frank has cleverly re-introduced this experience with his “Convert 2.0” ads strategy. Make sure to read it and check out Frank’s detailed response on Lesya Holzapfe 's post https://www.skool.com/ourcreation/reach-awareness-ads?p=3b393265 As far as I can tell, the reason to turn off Advantage Plus targeting is that actual FB employees are completing your desired action for you (read the terms). So weird. Has anyone else successfully implemented this? I finally got my first campaign scheduled, and I’m anxious because the first video that went live had a low ad quality score. I’m preparing myself mentally to redo all of the videos 🤷‍♂️

@Frank Kern TY for letting me know I'm not alone. Had to turn off that campaign. The video about redoing and testing ads made it a lot easier to make something better. I went ahead and tried a different ad with a better script (using a modified survey results video) Coming up with 6 more good ones is going to take more time but will be worth it.
Need help!
I am asking for the group's help here. Our product/platform is already built and hosted - it's an interactive training course with its own community, which has a front door page with a short video that's supposed to convert those who land on the page. It's not converting well so far. we don't have enough traffic yet to really get an understanding on why it's not converting(is it the offer? the front door page? ETc), but I think that we need to add more content/value prior to them getting to our front door page. Which service or two for opt in pages/sales letter/video embeds would you recommend for building out the sequence?

Also, consider expanding your product to include more than just mindset training. Maybe some actual baseball, or exercise training, correct stances, etc. I'm not sure what that is, but whatever makes sense for baseball. These could be part of the program or bonuses that people get for signing up. Actually this is probably what people are looking for. How to stand/ hit the ball better. Maybe add your current product as the bonus they get for ordering within 4 days. Let me know if I'm out in left field on this one 🙃
