USING Ai TO ENHANCE AND ARRANGE MY OWN MATERIAL IN A DIFFERENT WAY
Would it be lazy, wrong, or cheating if I wrote the complete lyrics of a song using all of my own lyrics and entered my lyrics in to the app and asked AI to enhance it? I could then change words, phrases, arrangements, and add more inspired lyrics. Someone with songwriting skills and talent could write powerful lyrics this way. I'm using AI in other areas of my life, and I'm trying not to be shortsighted or stubborn. Using AI to enhance and correct my own material sounds valid to me. Any thoughts on using AI in this way?

No different than using a pitch correction tool, or step recording midi. I used to think it was cheating, or just being lazy-ish, but now if you don't use these types of tools, you fall behind the pros who DO use them. Life/technology keeps moving forward, and if you don't keep up, you get left behind....though I haven't used AI at this point, I may at some point to help enhance what I've already started.
Boosting/cutting frequencies that you can’t hear
I have hearing loss now as a result of a semi truck pulling out in front of me i was on a Road King Harley Davidson 2 years ago. I broke my back and several other bones and banged my head resulting in severe Vertigo Tinnitus and I can’t hear above 10.5k in left ear and 12 k in right ear. However I can hear down to 30hz in both ears! Thankfully! My post is about dealing with frequencies that we can’t hear. Even before the collision I could hear only to about 16.5khz. BUT!! I can absolutely hear the difference when I boost way above my hearing limitations. Like boosting 15 to 16 kHz. I can tell a difference! Even with a relatively low Q. Why do you think that is? Harmonics ? Or is it a phantom of what I want to hear?

@Monroe Neese No problem, that's where I got my info from as well...I guess it actually stuck in my brain. Finding the right reference tracks has be a thorn in my side tho...

@Monroe Neese that's funny! I know there have been 1 or 2 posts regarding where/how to look for reference tracks...Here's a link to finding reference tracks by Dylan Pines below. I just need to keep remembering that I have it...Sometimes I feel like there's just too much to remember, with all that the mastering.com folks give us...and not enough hours in the day to take it all in, let alone remember it...can feel overwhelming sometimes, but I suppose that's a good problem. Quick Question?
Any experienced mastering engineers in here that have pushed a -6 lufs song out via DSP's? Whats the best headroom to output to avoid issues?

@Rob Mayzes I already signed up and have the free credit. Just didn’t know if I have to use it within the 7 day free trial, or will it get tacked on to my first full month.

Ah, just saw your first reply
YouTube question
We're considering making every YouTube video more specific to a certain genre or skill level. This would allow us to better help a specific person instead of keeping every video broad. If we went down this route, would you rather we put everything on this channel, or had different channels for different skills levels or genres?

Separate channels...would be easier to find and subscribe to what I'm most interested in.
