Should I start writing posts again?
My schedule has somewhat quieted down, and I feel that there is enough time in my routine to read a book every ~two weeks. Should I start writing/recording book talks again? If there's as much as one person who would benefit from this, I'll continue.

Definitely! I remember seeing your posts regularly over the summer, and they never fail to expand my perspective.
Global Youth Conference: Connecting Non-profits and Individuals Worldwide
Hi there! I am Grace Lee, and on behalf of the BC Children & Youth Connection Society, I encourage us to engage in an international youth conference this year to connect individuals, non-profits, and clubs worldwide to create a greater impact and listen to insights from different backgrounds and cultures. What is the International Youth Conference? - We aim to connect non-profits, teens, and clubs in different areas of the world to discuss and work together to manage one major and current global challenge. E.g.: Mental Health, Food Insecurity, Access to Quality Education, etc - During the conference, there are three sections: - 1) Discussion What is life like in your country/region with this issue? What actions are being taken so far? How helpful are these actions? What are the statistics? How is this affecting the daily lives of the citizens in your area? - 2) Brainstorm - Based on our discussion, what can we do as an international team to support? E.g.: initiating fundraisers, campaigns, community service, etc in our community, local area, schools, etc How can we use insights from different backgrounds and cultures to develop more effective solutions? - 3) Collaborate - Draft a plan to bring the initiative to the local area. Branch out each other’s non-profits/campaigns/clubs/fundraisers/workshops etc in different countries and locations Why the International Youth Conference? - Viewing a challenge from multiple perspectives leads to better insight. - Gives teens the opportunity to enhance their communication skills with people from different backgrounds. - International non-profit/club/individual connections: help branch out each other’s non-profits or individual clubs, etc - Due to the number of volunteers at BC Children & Youth Connection Society who are looking for more volunteering opportunities, it would be great if we could bring your non-profit to the conference for them to join. - Show that youth can change the world too. We don’t have to be 18+ to support a cause we care about.

If You Want To Learn About AI, This is a Good Starting Point
I know that with the rise of tools like ChatGPT and other AI models, a lot of people have started showing interest in AI but aren’t sure where to begin. So, I thought I’d share a good starting point: AI Safety Fundamentals. This blog is genuinely well-written, covering the basics of AI and its origins, and if you follow the footnotes, it guides you on a solid path toward understanding AI in-depth. It’s actually part of the course I’m taking at BlueDot, and I wanted to share it because so many want to learn but don’t know where to start. I hope it helps! Let me know if you have any questions on the topics. While I’m not an expert, I think I have enough experience to answer some of them. And also for the people who are already into AI, I think this is a good read for you too.

Thank you so much for sharing this Chinnu! I was just thinking about getting started in AI on my way home, so this post showing up on my feed is perfect timing haha. Though, I am a bit confused on how AI is inseperable from its company, so it would be great if you could expand on that.

@Chinnu B Oh, I see. That makes sense. Thanks for the analogy.
Anyone Interested in Starting a Non-profit Together?
Many people with mental conditions in the world are not receiving the support that they need. There are also not enough resources like psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, etc to support them. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a non-profit together on neuroscience for mental health, where we post and share resources that are backed by science on a website or application. This way, the resources are not just cliche reassurances, but actual science-based methods and cognitive behavioral activities that can help. Any other ideas are also welcome. Please let me know if you'd be interested in founding and leading it together! Update: If you are interested, please drop your email below or to my DMs for privacy as it is the form of communication that everyone can access! Update 2: I sent out an email for those of you who were interested. Please give me your email so that I can add you to the chain if you want to be a part of this. Thank you for your cooperation!

@Mudasser Siddique I definitely love the philosophy approach as I used to be a huge philosophy nerd! It definitely helps open our perspective and we can write articles or record podcasts on them. Can you please send me your email and Discord?

Personally, I find online resources like youtube videos from colleges or teachers very affective. You can also ask your school teacher for advice or tutoring, as when I was struggling with math, I reached out to my school teacher and she offered to tutor me outside of class time, which helped a lot with my math.
