One of my favourite is Doing Discovery by Peter Cohan. It helped me a lot in closing even huge deals. I can share the Italian version privetely if needed ;)
My mind is juggling
Phase 1 of the ELG started today. Organized everything so that it is as good as possible, well structured, and has all the tools at hand and working. I defined: ā€¢ My ICP list ā€¢ CRM with tags and phases ā€¢ Messages by type of traffic, and... ā€¢ Go, go, Power Ranger! I think I executed it correctly, but now my mind feels like it's juggling. I guess it's normal while I adapt to the new process, even the new skill. Is this happening to someone else too? How is everything coming along in this phase with you?

@Hyrum Palmero CRM is not a tool. CRM is taking care. If I care about my prospects I literally CAN'T miss an update, an event, a sharing tip. I couldn't run the negotiation properly without taking the right notes. And tools like ClickUp can't handle that. If I am working on an high ticket opportunity I should be committed, and that's the best way to show the prospect I care šŸ˜‰

@Hyrum Palmero pardon my delay! I had to close that deal :) For my stuff I am working with Hubspot & vTiger which are great for Freelancers and coaches. But once I'll move to the next level (like having a team, +30 lead / mo, + 10k / mo) I'll definitely go with Salesforce. šŸ˜‰ I'll share soon a video about some stuff that's very helpful to close high ticket deals faster
Godfather offer - feedback
Just watching the Godfather offer video and one thing that really stood out was: For not-good-fit clients who donā€™t have budget OFFER CONSULTING as a backupā€¦ Really love thisā€¦ that way they can see how I work, and might do more in the futureā€¦ Thank you! That might just land me more clients! Not scaleable but Iā€™ve seen this with a Berlin therapist startup: they hired me for a little job a third of the smallest sprint I offerā€¦ and then said based on how I work and how they like me theyā€™d book a content sprint afterā€¦ Donā€™t know why I didnā€™t think of this beforeā€¦ šŸ‘€

@Hyrum Palmero I make something similar but My DIY has the scope of drive an upsell ultimately. In my case the community has a win win approach as there are low cost freelancers in there. So if the client has low budget he can just leverage their services for execution instead of mine
Audience Score?
Can anyone tell me what the audience score is in the ICP form?

Hi David, on my CRM, the score is the result of the prospect i am qualifying. It depends on - urgency (is there any compelling event that could help my closing?) - they are the decision maker - they have the budget - the channel by which i got in touch with them. During his classes Ste speaks about different variables, but I slighted adapted those according to the offers I provide. I hope it helps
Suggestion to a Lead Gen Agency Owner.
Hey Fellows, I'm glad to be in the community. I am Abdul Wahab, a Web Design business owner and the founder of a newly launched Lead generation agency called Prospectify. A few years ago, I worked with B2B businesses as a freelance lead generation expert, and now I have started my agency specifically to help freelancers and agencies get their next clients with lead generation, email outreach, and email sales copywriting. Everything is going well; I am building up the business slowly and recently worked for a client too. Now the problem is pricing. I want to charge Per lead for my clients, but I don't even know how much. Our lead generation process works like this: 1. The client needs discovery. 2: Help them to narrow down 3: finding out the best outreach method 4: Generating leads from LI or Google 5: Qualifying leads to find out if the prospect is a good fit for our client service 6: Then delivering data or starting the email outreach process What do you guys recommend for how much we should charge per lead? Thanks for your time. šŸ˜ƒ

Hi Abdul. I suggest you to create an offer that is not comparable to the others. A lot of agencies do like you said, CPL is another angle to differentiate on the market, and maybe it's fine. But the price depends on the industry (some b2b companies have a CPA of 500ā‚¬), time and dedication you provide in discovery etc. Why don't you evaluate a Fractional role, like higher ticket to train freelancer and agency to do what you offer? Like Stef said during one of his lessons "startups and founders don't have huge budget for lead gen, but they have time". I suggest you to validate this fit before moving ahead with CPL pricing. Try to think if you are really helping your ideal customers with this service or you can do something more / different
