Instability of 2nd octave E and G
For next lesson, I'd like to know how to compensate for a certain issue. With some reeds, the 2nd octave E and G are unstable. Holding down the low B flat key remedies this. Turning the reed over helps sometimes. Do you know of a permanent fix? Is it a simple adjustment to make? It only happens with these 2 notes... and only on certain reeds. (Oboe had a tuneup two months ago.)

@Rhonda Smith I know you aren’t super comfy with the video on during the session? Would you feel comfortable putting the video on for a couple of minutes in the next class? I have some questions for you that will help me help you.

Help with Bach?
Is there someone who played the Arie (no 3) of the Bach cantate 105? (see pdf) and wants to help me find some direction in it? Where to play to, what are the heavy points, why is the articulation written as it is and so on?

Reedmakers
Hello, everyone. I'm trying up long scrape reeds (short scraper for some years now) and I would like to know who your favorite reed suppliers are. English Horn especially. Thanks in advance!
