Sort of on topic - Have you heard the piece by Alyssa Morris Four Personalities? Yellow, White, Blue, Red are the movements -

@Magda Prins-Nip if you go down to Four Personalities on this link she discusses something of her process with the colors. I definitely notice different moods - I think personally I feel more of a kaleidoscope when I’m playing… Sort of morphing into different color sets, rather than thinking of one certain color. But it is interesting to think about!

I am finding out a few things on my own and I thought I would post! I had my drone going on the same page and I clicked analysis. The waveform/pitch option was chosen, and I noticed when I was doing my long-tone articulation exercise (9 gentle non-tongued attacks starting p-f-p) It showed exactly what I was trying to notice. If I had a “hard attack” the waveform Had a sharp spike at the beginning. Apparently you can record this and look at it somehow, and maybe get feedback from the tuner app? I haven’t figured that out. But I wanted to share since I’m so excited this is exactly what I have been looking for

I love my Royal- it weighs a ton and it does get water in the upper register alllll the time! But I still love the way it feels to play, and the sound I get. I would definitely be open to trying others if I had thousands of dollars laying around, but am very happy with this one which I bought about 10 years ago (used!).
