Consultation from LinkedIn
I just had a consultation that resulted from me reaching out to one of my followers on LinkedIn. It’s so much easier to have a consultation with someone already attracted to me. Don’t give up. I thought she initially ghosted me but I found a spam message she sent that I didn’t read until a month later and kept following up with her until at rescheduled for today. It seems likely she will become a client soon and she is someone in my niche. 😊

@Sandra Park Any updates from that appointment? Loving your content on LinkedIn!

@Sandra Park I’ve learned many times in my sales career in financial services and outside, that following up is key. It’s a challenge to do that without sounding like you’re chasing them, but it’s better to stay top of mind. People move really slow when it’s time to make a decision or a change. It could be taken as a sign that they’re ghosting, but that’s many times, my assumption rather than what’s really happening.
Connection responses
Anyone have any scripts they use for LinkedIn after someone accepts their connection request? Maybe some scripts you use to tell them what you do and ask for an appointment? What's working for you when it comes to prospecting on LinkedIn?

@Ermos Erotocritou do you usually focus on trying to generate inbound leads with your connections, or do you ever ask for appointments or offer free consultations/portfolio reviews?

I wholeheartedly agree with @Sandra Park . I used Kaplan for all my certs and recently passed the 65 with Kaplan. The QBank is definitely a must. In fact, I used the QBank as my main source for study. There’s over 4K questions in the QBank and all I did was take quizzes with 130 questions 2x/ day and then smashed the exam. Kaplan’s QBank is rigorous and if you can get a 70% on 10 practice exams, you’re pretty much sure to pass.
Existing clients
