@Datskandy Yls A lot of meme pages have crazy big following so they charge a lot of more and most of them dont have the reach they used to have so the money spent isnt worth it. But the ones that are more niche normally have a better steady following and dont charge as much.

Selling physicals?
I've been working on an EP and im thinking about doing a limited run of some CDs. (50 total). I'd likely drop it before the EP hits DSP to give an exclusive feel and really sell it as an art piece. I was wondering if anyone has had experience doing a physical drop. Did you end up with a bunch of overhead? I love to buy CDs and Vinyl and it seems like over the last few years they have been making a comeback for music enthusiasts. Im curious to hear y'all thoughts on this, do you think physicals are viable in 2023?

Yes they are but it all depends on what type of following you have.
