Formats compared
Just saw this video released a couple of days ago comparing an original digital master to vinyl, reel-to-reel, cassette, apple lossless and spotify best quality. I find it interesting because a few years ago I compared three copies I have of Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd - being vinyl, CD and apple lossless - my thoughts really eched the finding in this video, but of course when I mentioned this online many said "different mixes" etc. And yet. Anyways, thought I'd share because I'm sure most of us find this interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iohmhZWDNo

@Monroe Neese All good and understood. Just don't forget about the other ones that made it all measurable. Like Ohm's law. And others like Coulomb's law as well. Calories is a whole nother matter having the output of a given human versus the output of another human with different inputs. The outcome will always vary wildly. Who's the right person to say what is normal. And who's to judge what is normal? For us creatives, it's our peers. Not our audience. We, the writers and artists that create the new stuff that defines what the future brings to the masses as far as that goes. Its up to us to bring awareness to the public about it and to market it in a way that everyone is happy with the results. In the end, we always seem to agree on every point just in a different way that hopefully will be beneficial to everyone involved or whoever reads this in the future. Hope this helps us both as well as all of them. 🤠

(1 FREE) 10 Beats With Stems by A Billboard Producer
This pack was created by myself, an award winning producer, and 7ink, a billboard producer that has produced songs for artists like Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, etc. I know that nobody in here owes me anything, but I implore you to read this with an open heart, as your contribution can help change a life for the better. I'm trying to raise money for my wife's severely disabled brother. He can't move or talk and we're saving up to buy the best eye tracing technology so that he can communicate - get his own voice. There's no set price for this package. Just DM me and we'll find a price that works for your respective budget. Shoot me a DM to discuss things further and to claim one of the beats below, with stems, for FREE!

I'll be happy to help in any way I can but until my interface arrives, my studio is down. I can however give an opinion based on what I can hear with my older equipment. I'll be spending some time in the studio later on today and I'll patch my phone into the studio speakers. I'll get back to you with my opinions and any suggestions I can come up with to improve the samples. Hope this helps. 🤠

X numbers. Happy New Year John. 🤠
Who's got a New Year's resolution?
OK, so I'm not really asking about who plans to start jogging every morning, I'm thinking along the lines of production and music making related goals. (But if the jogging part is essential for focussing your mind ready to make music, fantastic!) Who has a resolution for the new year, or a particular goal you want to achieve?

My goal this year is make the music pay for itself as well as making a decent living for myself whether it's playing live shows and or in the studio. 🤠
