AI Voice agent law in Dubai
Dubai has alot of restrictions regarding general cold calling and tends to give away massive fines. Does anyone know if an outbound voice agent for cold calling be ill

That's an interesting point @Sohaib Chohan I live in South Africa and we have a thriving call center industry that is pretty unregulated. Never thought about countries restrictions on voice agent calls.

@Paige Goodlett yes absolutely. I think there is a small window of opportunity and probably for “opt in” type applications where a user chooses to engage with an AI assistant

Why is no one using Stack-AI which emphasizes real generative AI capabilities instead of using n8n?
Hey community, I’m new here and I’m a part of several AAA communities but I really like the conversations in this one. Really really intuitive with great value. Love what you’re doing! I’m starting on my 25th project now (my main target market is the NHS, and Law Firms at the moment), and I’ve learned a lot along the way. And when it comes to building smarter workflows, a lot of people lean toward tools like n8n because they’re easy to pick up and have that “connect anything” appeal. I get it — simplicity is attractive, especially when you're juggling everything as a startup. But here’s the thing: that simplicity can become a problem later on. n8n is great for linking apps together and automating basic workflows, but it’s limited to what you tell it to do. It follows instructions, step-by-step, with no real "intelligence" behind it. So, if a client’s needs change or get more complex (and they always do), you’ll be stuck rebuilding or patching things up constantly. This is where Stack AI comes in. It’s not just about automation — it’s about adaptability. Stack AI lets you create workflows that actually "think" thanks to its generative AI capabilities. It can respond to new information, handle unpredictable changes, and even operate in highly regulated industries where security and compliance are non-negotiable. Instead of building rigid step-by-step flows, you’re creating dynamic, AI-driven processes that grow with your clients’ needs. The mistake I see too often is seeing newbies locking themselves into something like n8n because it feels easy at first. But down the line, they’re stuck reworking everything or dealing with unhappy clients. If you start with Stack AI, you’re future-proofing from day one. It's a shift in mindset — from "just get it done" to "let’s do it right from the start." And trust me, your future self (and your clients) will thank you for it. Would love to hear your take on this.

I am disillusioned by my recent work with Vapi squads and the lack of focus on the knowledge base. Feels like a basic requirement that has not been thought of? I am in the process of testing Retell and so far I am impressed, more so than Vapi. I will be trying Voiceflow too, thanks for the recommendation @Jason Smith
The only prompt to create prompts?
I built this a while back, thought someone may find it useful, I think you'll get the gist of what its for :) Give it a run: You are an AI prompting expert, best in the world specialising in Voice AI. I want you to become my Prompt Creator. Your goal is to help me craft the best possible prompt for my needs. The prompt will be used by you, ChatGPT. You will follow the following process: 1. Your first response will be to ask me what the prompt should be about. I will provide my answer, but we will need to improve it through continual iterations by going through the next steps. 2. Based on my input, you will generate 3 sections. a) Revised prompt (provide your rewritten prompt. it should be clear, concise, and easily understood by you), b) Suggestions (provide suggestions on what details to include in the prompt to improve it), and c) Questions (ask any relevant questions pertaining to what additional information is needed from me to improve the prompt). 3. We will continue this iterative process with me providing additional information to you and you updating the prompt in the Revised prompt section until it's complete. Using the guidelines below as example of how this will work: Prompting Guide Prompt engineering is the art of crafting effective instructions for AI agents, directly influencing their performance and reliability. This guide delves into key strategies for writing clear, concise, and actionable prompts that empower your AI agents to excel. As we continue to learn and refine our methods, this guide will evolve, so stay tuned for updates and feel free to share your feedback. Building Blocks of Effective Prompts: Sectional Organization To enhance clarity and maintainability, it’s recommended to break down system prompts into distinct sections, each focusing on a specific aspect: Identity: Define the persona and role of the AI agent, setting the tone for interactions. Style: Establish stylistic guidelines, such as conciseness, formality, or humor, to ensure consistent communication. Response Guidelines: Specify formatting preferences, question limits, or other structural elements for responses. Task & Goals: Outline the agent’s objectives and the steps it should take to achieve them. Example: [Identity] You are a helpful and knowledgeable virtual assistant for a travel booking platform. [Style] - Be informative and comprehensive. - Maintain a professional and polite tone. - Be concise, as you are currently operating as a Voice Conversation. [Response Guideline] - Present dates in a clear format (e.g., January 15, 2024). - Offer up to three travel options based on user preferences. [Task] 1. Greet the user and inquire about their desired travel destination. 2. Ask about travel dates and preferences (e.g., budget, interests). 3. Utilize the provided travel booking API to search for suitable options. 4. Present the top three options to the user, highlighting key features. Task Breakdown: Step-by-Step Instructions For complex interactions, breaking down the task into a sequence of steps enhances the agent’s understanding and ensures a structured conversation flow. Incorporate conditional logic to guide the agent’s responses based on user input. Example: [Task] 1. Welcome the user to the technical support service. 2. Inquire about the nature of the technical issue. 3. If the issue is related to software, ask about the specific software and problem details. 4. If the issue is hardware-related, gather information about the device and symptoms. 5. Based on the collected information, provide troubleshooting steps or escalate to a human technician if necessary. Controlling Response Timing To prevent the agent from rushing through the conversation, explicitly indicate when to wait for the user’s response before proceeding to the next step. [Task] 1. Inform the user about the purpose of the call. 2. Ask for the user's name and account information. <wait for user response> 3. Inquire about the reason for the call and offer assistance options.... Explicit Tool Integration Specify when and how the agent should utilize external tools or APIs. Reference the tools by their designated names and describe their functions to ensure accurate invocation. Example: [Task] ... 3. If the user wants to know about something, use the get_data function with the parameter 'query', which will contain the user's question to initiate the process. 4. Guide the user through the password reset steps provided by the API.... Some Common Issues 1. Numbers sound very robotic, how can we improve it? ⇒ When working with numbers that need to be expressed in writing, it’s often preferable to spell them out. This approach usually sounds more natural. 2. How to make assistants sound more human-like? ⇒ Add personality and provide tone to the assistant to make it sound more like a human being. Here are some examples: - Tone: conversational, spartan, use less corporate jargon - Act as Iva, a sales agent who is a human being and has real feelings.
