What's Everyone Working On?
I'd love to see more of you posting your projects. We want to see what you're working on; share in your triumphs and tragedies. Preferably more of the former and less of the later.

hello all, Thought I would share a few photos of the lamp I just finished. The woodworking part was building the box. But then it got covered with leather and velvet . Enjoy. Jim

Love it! Is that Thing from Addams Family? 👏
Wall Art
Had a bit of fun with a piece of live edge black walnut and our Cricut machine. Our Pastor wanted to dress up one wall in the foyer of our church. Run through a planer, hit it with the sander, finish with 800 grit by hand, and then apply the lettering. Two keyholes on the back, and viola! Pastor is happy, happy, happy!

Beautiful!
Hello
Hello I’m Mike. I did wood shop in high school and then I caught the bug a few years ago helping a buddy in his wood shop when he got injured. Anyways I’ve started going pretty hard on woodworking in the last two years or so. I made some signs, a bridge, a hog pen/house, a few tables and stuff. I’m making whatever I can but my ideas are lacking hence me being here. I took a wood carving class and that helped wonders. I’ll post some of my stuff but it’s all amateur and I’m still learning. I’m still figuring things out. See you around!

Awesome work, Mike! Welcome to the group!
The pantry pullout
Prior to the pandemic my short (5'2") wife complained about not being able to use the pantry shelves efficiently and all the wasted space. The pantry had adjustable shelves that were 29" wide and 24" deep. She had a time reaching the back of the shelves and had me cut some so they were almost like a staircase which to me was truly a waste. Once the pandemic hit and I was stuck at home I decided to replace her shelves with drawers. I had some 3/4" plywood left over from the bathroom cabinet remodel so I didn't have to go anywhere.
