SMS compliance - Europe
Hi guys! I am new to DBR and I have a question: Most of the prospects I’ve been looking at, they do NOT write on their website form that they’ll be sending out SMS. - Is that not a problem? What help is it if they have a list of 10.000+ people, if those people never ticked a box saying “I agree to receive offers on e-mail and SMS”??? I do not know about US, but here in Europe I am pretty sure that is the law. At least to my understanding after reading about “SMS compliance”. Any thoughts, @Haplin Milgrom-Hills and Co?

@Haplin Milgrom-Hills Thanks a lot. I guess, if the first sms is a free give away, then it is not considered commercial. And if we ask them for permission to send them an offer, then we should be in the clear too, but that is just what I think. Also not a legal expert of any kind.
