Using AI in any cool ways?
Anyone here using AI in any cool ways in their day-to-day? Whether it's business or personal- curious to hear! A lot of you are at least somewhat familiar with my AI assistant I've been training, RICK, because he's helped answer a good handful of questions people have in here when I don't have time to get to them. It's been crazy to see the progression of "building" him since the summer, and what he's able to help with now. I nerd out hard about this stuff, so if you've got any interesting ways you've been using AI, I am 100% all ears. Anything like: - Idea generation - Organized note-taking / journaling / brain-dumping - Chatbot setups It's fascinating figuring out new ways to use this stuff to help us do what we do better and faster (without going TOO far down the rabbit hole lol). Doing any cool stuff?

@Bailey Nachtigal Dude, I watched a video earlier where a dude was having the Advanced Voice mode on ChatGPT run through a variety of vocal styles from Japanese anime (totally foreign to me, but he explained the different vocal styles as he went through). Not only did it clearly adapt the voice to fit each style, it changed the type of language and sentence structure to match the archetype. Then he started speaking Japanese to it and it automatically switched, and was changing tones that way too. Crazy. I've only tinkered with chatbot stuff so far- it was a rabbit hole I ran down for sure, and didn't have an actual NEED. Just poking around lol. The journaling aspect is super useful, in my opinion. I use it when I'm in the car and have a little bit of a commute. I'll brain dump ideas I have, and try to figure out ways to make them actionable, or to prioritize things, or to figure out which ideas are useful and relevant to other things I'm currently working on to be able to weave into them. Since ChatGPT stores memories, it knows about other stuff I'm working on, and pretty seamlessly ties them together. Example- if I'm brain dumping ideas about a VBC workshop for Content Savage, it'll (unprompted) mention that it might be a good idea to include some info about the SCORE framework, and ideal client archetypes, since those are other frameworks and "strategies" I use, that tie pretty closely to VBCs. It'll come up with cool ways to work them in. Crazy stuff, dude. lol. How have you found the Japanese teacher to be working for you? Been coaching it on how to coach you best? Or is it doing a good job on its own?
Well...Outreach Works Guys
Who would have thought 😂 After attending the Community Calls and Workshop of last week, the common denominator of these was about how to get clients and create deals, and the first step, shocker, is to communicate with them! I took Ceebz advice about the video selfie message when reaching out to a warm lead, and I just sent two of them to two warm leads I met last week, and in under 20 minutes they BOTH responded and said that they would be eager to have a call next week to discuss how to move forward with me as their guy. I was super nervous at first, sending a video like that, but I just made it a conversational tone, as what was highly suggested, and it was super easy! One of my leads even sent a selfie video BACK to me, explaining how she was excited to do this work, and she wants me to be the one to do it. I sent one last night, I am yet to hear back, but a solid 2/3 is not a bad ratio as of yet haha! I am gonna start expanding my net more so to speak and approach more people! I'll keep you Savages in the loop 😎

Closed my first $5K deal!
Huge shoutout to Ceebz and Dave for all you guys do. Super grateful to have come across you guys and this community. Just closed my first $5k deal with a production company! This was the second deal we've done with this client. The first one was closed at $1.2K but we only wanted $600 after seeing the results. This is HUGE for me and my team. Super happy to have the opportunity to kill it for them. Turns out it is possible to make a big close without solid case studies if you practice and refine your sales call enough as well as BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. I figured I would provide you guys a link to watch the full sales call, as I know stuff like that always helps me. Here you go: https://youtu.be/ybaRPGOmzNk Fully open to all criticisms! Hope this helps someone.

Dude, congrats on the #DealClosed! Massive win man! How'd you feel closing it? And more importantly, how are you celebrating the win? Stoked for you man, this is killer momentum!

@Luciano DeVita Haha that's the good stuff, man- first time I closed a big deal, my arms started going numb haha. Dude, I'm so sorry that that was your celebration 😂 Also watched, and the real fight of the night was Taylor v Cerrano (even if Cerrano got robbed AGAIN). For me, it's usually going out to dinner or something like that. If I could go out to eat at a new place every single day of my life, I'd be a happy guy haha. Being able to just spend some time and yap for a bit with my girlfriend or brother or some friends is the best win for me.

Whatup Fam! Fire sesh last night!!! I'm still working on getting everything together for those that were in attendance... stay tuned for that email within the next couple days! Just wanted to create a random thread for stuff not related to Video, Content Strategy, or rant about yall being The Most Legendary Group of Savage Entrepreneur's that's Ever Walked the Planet. --> Anyone riding this Crypto train right meow? --> Anyone using Discord vs Slack to manage a team? (or just in General...) --> Anyone super dialed on building automation systems with Make.com? --> Anyone want to get together in person for an epic Live Event in March?? Holla for a dolla. 🙃

I bought $100 of BTC back in 2017 when it jumped to $14k (which was mind-blowing at the time). I left it sitting in that wallet since then, and once it hit about $86k the other day, I finally sold it. Ended up at about $500- I'll take it haha
🚨 Are You Actually Growing Your Business, or Just Pretending to Work?
Be honest, Savages... how often do you look busy AF, but deep down, you know you’re not really getting anywhere? Things like: - Rearranging B-Roll for the 20th time to get it "perfect" - Organizing your hard drives because it'll "help you work faster" - Updating your social media bios so you look "professional" It feels like work—but is it making you money? Is it getting you new clients, leveling up your skills, or moving the needle at all? When you’re a creative running your own business, it's easy to confuse motion with progress. But there’s a difference between looking busy and actually being effective- and that’s what decides whether you’re stressed about bills or stacking wins. Let's call it out—what’s the biggest ‘busy trap’ you fall into, and how do you snap out of it? Or maybe you're still working on figuring that part out. Let’s air it out and help each other focus on what matters. The only thing worse than being busy and broke, is being busy and broke ALONE.

@Bailey Nachtigal Hell of a reflection, man. I appreciate the honesty on it. And you're 100% not alone in that- a LOT of people avoid the actions that have a consequence of rejection. It's human nature- rejection feels bad, so we avoid it. But the people who can change that association of rejection with a negative feeling are the ones who find success faster. Kinda like, "if rejection is inevitable, then why not get them out of the way faster"? Once you start doing more of that outreach- whether it's cold messages, warm messages, networking, etc.- it's like a bunch of seeds getting planted. One month, three months, six or even 12 months down the line, those seeds grow into something. It's a ton more opportunities for people to have reason to contact you, even if they don't "NEED" you right at that first contact. It's just putting yourself on people's radar. That's also when content becomes way more valuable- because it can keep you on people's radar more consistently.

@Peter Wesołowski Makes sense, man! Better to start focusing energy and time into the things that will help you break out of that
