Hormozi's Testimonial Template
Here's Alex's exact questionnaire template he uses to get testimonials from his clients. He calls it "Success Interviews" and outlines the "Epiphany Bridge" to create "Lifecycle Ads" for a 60-90 second video you can use for content, bonuses and ads. PHASE 1: BEFORE PURCHASE Q1: [INTERNAL] What was life like before internally - before you saw this, did this? Q2: [EXTERNAL] What were the external stats other people would observe about you before you decided to do this thing? PHASE 2: DURING PURCHASE Q3: [EXTERNAL] What made you actually take the next step, externally? External - I was making $3k/mo, behind on payments, almost lost house, had to downgrade our car (external stuff) Q4: [INTERNAL] And internally, what were the things you were most concerned about?** Internal - I was struggling, my wife didn’t respect me anymore bc I couldn’t make money EPIPHANY QUESTIONS Then I saw an ad from Alex and it kinda caught my eye. Q5: What were your biggest concerns? I didn’t know if it was legit Q6: Well what made you decide to do it anyways? Well I saw the other people that had testimonials and saw a guy who had almost the exact same model as me… so if it worked for that guy maybe I’ll give it a shot. PHASE 3: AFTER PURCHASE Q7: What’s life like now, externally and internally? Now I was able to get back the car, I upgraded, we moved to a better neighborhood, my kids can go to a better school and I feel better about myself. OUTCOME: Condense into 60-90 sec video and also becomes an ad. Watch full video here: Start at 12:12 to 14:48

best advice to reduce churn.
This questions was asked in the skool games on a pinned post. If you had to give your best advice or strategy to reduce churned rate, what would it be? there were no comments, so I dropped this. 1. RUN A FEEDBACK LOOP 2. SIMPLY CLASSROOM 3. ONBOARD MEMBERS THROUGH CLASSROOM 4. IMPROVE ENGAGEMENT 5. GET MEMBERS MORE ACTIVATED THROUGH LEVELS 6. RETENTION VIDEO 7. GET YOUR DATA SOLID 8. RETWEAK YOUR ABOUT PAGE 52 Likes on a comment.

@Sofia Tahanova Yea I have a *start here* section. It could be better but it gives the a video test drive of Skool and also post links to introduce themselves, comment and ask any questions. I think I’m going to have to have my *start here* course translated to an email campaign and slowly familiarize them with Skool

@Sofia Tahanova good suggestions, thank you 🙏🏼 That’s what I’m trying to figure out - messaging and what they really want. I’m ramping up ads to get more members. One of my intake questions is what’s their #1 question / struggle right now. Most people fill that out and it gives me insights. Still a small sample size. Once I have 100 members with 100 questions I’ll have a pretty good gauge to tweak my messaging. I’m getting the right members to join based on their questions, just need more.
How often do you post?
How often do you create posts in your community? I myself keep seeing communities in which the creator of the community posts the most. This means that the community is becoming more and more of a social media account. You are conditioning your members to "wait". They are waiting for the next status update from you. Now I'm curious... how often do you create posts in your community? ;-)

@Evelyn Weiss Makes sense, thanks. I'll give that a go this week. I'm assuming it'll take people 3-4 weeks to get people to start engaging in the Skool group (comments, posts). And the weeks leading up to it, they're just visiting Skool, reading posts, consuming content/courses but not actively contributing.

Get you members ACTIVATED
I started a new community And I wanted to make sure I followed what I preach - No members at level 1 - All members with FIRE - Free membership at Level 7 (thanks @Calvin Hollywood) I recommend this for ALL my clients And I'm making sure I do it too. ❤️‍🔥 "but Ryan how do make this happen?) GREAT QUESTION 😅 EXTREME ACCOUNTABILITY Yesterday I went through all members and checked their profile. If any member didnt have 10+ activities I created a post and tagged them letting them know they havn't gotten their 10+ activities yet. For all members still at LEVEL 1 They got a DM from me getting them to take action and to make a post/comment. If you want success from your group THEN YOU HAVE TO DO ALL THE THINGS!!! I'm heading into August with 0% percent CHURN And I plan for it to stay that way. Do you keep your members on track and taking action DAILY?

@Ryan Duncan What's best strategy to get NEW members USING Skool? It seems that people just aren't using Skool, therefore no community engagement. My posts and DMs go unnoticed. All my members are on Facebook and very active there. I feel like the best route is to start a Facebook group to start the community and then funnel members over to Skool for a paid community as they'll be more inclined to learn to use it.... thus promoting engagement. What are your thoughts on this strategy? What is the best way you have gotten people completely new to Skool to start using it, checking notifications, posting, and making it apart of their daily life like X, Fb, Ig, TikTok, YouTube, etc.?
My favourite strategy for getting people to use Skool...
People often ask me what membership platform to use. My answer? I tell them to go ahead and start a 14 day free trial with Skool AND with all of the competitors. Kajabi, Podia, Circle, Thinkific, Teachable, Mighty Networks, Podia... and GHL 😂 Why? Because Skool's "competition" is so bad (it's actually sad) that it actually makes it super easy for people to decide to use Skool. If you're still wondering if Skool is for you, read this.

What's your strategy to get new members to your community to use Skool? I had 12 new members join and 7 were completely new to Skool. Out of the 12, only 2 people were active on Skool the last 365 days (posts, comments). It seems that people just aren't using Skool, therefore no community interaction. My posts and DMs go un-noticed. All my members are on Facebook and very active there. I feel like the best route is to start a Facebook group to start the community and then funnel members over to Skool for a paid community as they'll be more inclined to learn to use it.... thus promoting engagement. What are your thoughts on this strategy?
