I'm excited to test out Zoom's new AI assistant that can record and summarize meetings. Most of our meetings are over zoom, but we still have plenty that are in-person. I'm wondering if there's a way to record and summarize these in-person meetings in a similar fashion. My thought was initially to launch a zoom meeting that just sits in the background, but I'm thinking it won't be able to differentiate between speakers, and therefore might not summarize very well. Has anyone had any luck using this sort of technology for in-person meetings? Or maybe there's a different solution I'm overlooking?

Hi all, I love how much discussion there is around advisor tech in this group since that is an area where the RIA I work for is woefully behind! What I'm wondering now is what kind of due diligence (for compliance purposes) do you perform initially for new technology tools? Seems like the SEC is targeting vendor due diligence next, so we are trying to stay ahead of the curve and beef up our protocols.

Good morning! Back in June @Kevin Stephison had asked about using "AI Notes" for virtual meetings in this thread. I'm currently considering adding a meeting assistant to help with my Zoom/Teams meetings to record/transcribe/summarize my client meetings. I know @Joe Moss mentioned in the thread above that he's used Grain and Fathom. Curious, Joe... which of these 2 would you recommend and why? In the same thread @Brian Quaranta mentioned Avoma. And @Mark Wellman suggested a couple additional options. Anyone else trialed or using any of these tools and have any thoughts or opinions? Thanks very much 😀
