I have a partnership set up with a medium-sized custom software development firm. We're coming up with offers to sell to their current and past clients. Their clients are larger and typically have purchased $50-100K per order, and upwards of $1MM annually recurring. I was thinking about how to run an auction. However, these current and past clients are only accessible by direct call or email, so there wouldn't be any social proof for the auction. Could this still work, or might there be a better way?

I’ve been thinking about putting this together for a couple weeks now and I’ve got a decent grasp on what it can look like. It seems to me the one skill I need to learn is copy writing. And I have been practicing. However I figured I’d come to the group to see how/if you rockstars are connecting a parade with a product without being a skilled copywriter? Happy Sunday Y’all!

In January we sold a program called "My Peeps" at a special discount to 200 folks. ($297 each) As we've been discussing... 👉The fastest way to get a licensing deal is to offer it to past customers. (This works in all niches BTW. Even if it's a weight loss offer...a segment of that list these days have followings or own businesses.) So that's what we did. They bought. They got to see how good the program is and "drive" it. Then, a couple of weeks later... 👉I asked them in a poll if they'd be open to selling it? (See pic) 👉With all the great responses, we put a licensing program together 👉Then we reached out by DM to offer it. Not hard. (Skool makes polls and DM follow-up easy.) Now... For this PARTICULAR licensing deal... We did an upfront investment of ($1900 to $2900) and then they get to keep 100% of the sales they make. They must sell it for $500...and I recommend $1,000. Now... Here's your fun-work: 1. Why would we do a 100% deal? Are we cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs? Comment below. 2. Use the framework of this post and send it to your (or a clients) past customers. He ran the auction for a partner! Not his IG. Not his product. If you have a product, but no following, then partner with someone who does have a following. If you have an audience, but need a product, partner. If you don’t have either… Put the two together and run the auction for them - like this fella did. The fella that ran this auction is a very private dude. If I could get him to share details like % split, how he put the deal together and such… Would you dig it ❓ 👉 Let me know with your “vote”.
