FMG vs Snappy Kraken vs _______
I was very happily using MarketingPro for a long time: it was easy, I could create customized emails including html editing, etc. Once FMG Suite bought and phased out MarketingPro, however, things went downhill and I'm very disappointed in the experience thus far. (One of the biggest features I lost when Marketing Pro went away was the ability to use status changes in Redtail to "trigger" emails to specific Redtail contacts (for example: if a contact's status was changed from "prospect" to "client" in Redtail, a welcome email would automatically be sent through MarketingPro). FMG Suite doesn't have these types of "trigger" systems.) Is anyone using a platform that allows for "triggered" emails (as described above) via a Redtail integration?

I agree. FMG blows compared to MarketingPro. In my case I used the awesome card sending capabilities of MP. Client anniversaries, wedding anniversaries, wedding anniversary reminder cards to husbands, birthday cards, Christian holiday cards, Jewish holiday card, Sikhs, Muslim, etc. - all customized on the envelope and inside and automated sending using Redtail Tag Groups. Worked beautifully. FMG offers generic birthday cards and that's it. I'm personally looking for an automated card mailing vendor with a broad assortment of cards although I'd be down for the triggered emails too if you find someone. I haven't tried Snappy Kraken and not sure of their abilities. All these companies like the email routes but in today's impersonal times and when clients get hundreds of emails per day, I found physical cards to be much appreciated. It shows that one went above and beyond in a small way at least. Heck, clients don't get birthday cards from their own kids or grandkids even and here I'm sending them not only that but also recognize their wedding anniversary and important days of their faith.
Phone systems
Just joined. We think Kate is a Rockstar. We're currently looking for a new phone system. We use Goto (Jive) but have had lots of issues with both phone and meetings. I think we've narrowed our choices to SIMPLII, Intulse or Zoom. We've never used the Redtail integration, Zoom doesn't offer it but would be 60% cheaper than Intulse & Simplii. Anyone have any experience with these 3 providers you can share?

I had Jive originally, for many years. They then turned into GoTo though acquisition I guess. I felt the cost was high so I started looking around and signed up for a trial of Ooma. Yeah, the cost was less but the system was nowhere as flexible with routing calls. We're a small business with just two desk phones, a couple of phone #'s, and using Ruby for our receptionist services. I ended up pretending to be a new GoTo customer to get a super low quote and then asked them to apply the new quote to my existing account. Not sure if that was sneaky or not but I tried talking to customer service about lowering my rates and it was like talking to a wall getting bounced around. The new customer team was much more on it and super helpful. I think that's a flaw with many companies how they take existing customers for granted while focusing all the attention on new customers so I don't feel bad about it. And the customer service rep. I spoke with didn't seem to mind either. He just said "Oh, OK. Sure we're can do that." Sigh. Anyway, I thus stuck with GoTo and once I took some time to explore all their tools, I ended up liking it. They have an app for your phone and a desktop app so now when someone calls, everything rings and I can easily switch between devices if I'm walking in from the car or leaving the office to take my phone call "to go". Oops, I guess this ended up a slightly longer post than I originally expected so if you're still reading, I hope there was some value in it.

Biggest need is trackable, defined processes for routine tasks so I can delegate but yet be not only assured that things are being done right but keeping me posted about it too.
