At what age should you start this process?
I would love to hear the communities thoughts on what is the best age to start this journey towards a US tennis scholarship.

@Sean Sweeney INTENNSE has just started with junior events. More will be added at https://intennse.com/events/ Communication with coaches is important, letting them know when and where your junior will be playing will help and be appreciated by a college coach.

Here's another interesting resource run by former college players: https://www.prospecttennis.com/
When should you start
Here’s a revised version: My best advice is to start the process in grade 9. Begin by making a list of about 300 schools that might interest you, then research the schools and their coaches. The goal is to narrow this list down to your top 5–10 schools by grade 11, so you’re ready to start negotiations. Remember, this is a business for the coaches and schools; if they can save money on you, they can use it elsewhere. I’ve invited some friends to join this conversation to share best practices. And of course we love your thouhjts.

The ITA has published some info that might be helpful to those planning at pathway to college tennis. See: https://wearecollegetennis.com/ita-college-connect/ The ITA College Connect tool is a bit primitive, but could work as a starting point in determining the appropriate playing level one needs to be in order to be attractive to a college coach. There are similar tools on the UTR site. See: https://colleges.wearecollegetennis.com/collegeconnect
